why do people in CP gossip so much?

Cp would be a great little town if people would stop fanning the rumor fires. its pitiful. makes me ashamed to be from there. GET A LIFE PEOPLE

well i have lived in other towns, and cp has been the worst so far.

Church Point is Horrible..... They have nothing better 2 do than talk about other people..... That is why people here can never back it up... they are two-faced backstabbers in this F@**ed up town.... The best thing 2 do is confront them, but they lie.... Said they never said it because they are scared shitless

Church Point is 20 years behind the rest of the world in social development.

Well I graduated from Church Point High and I do believe that some people cant go 5 min without saying something bad about someone. Oh well.. life went on and I got out of there.

What people say about other people that is not true really upsets people.... Yes this a free country and we have freedom of speech but tell the truth not lies.... You can really bring someone down very bad...

I love to hear what people are saying about each other, who is cheating on who, who is on drugs or drinks too much, who is sleeping with whose husbands. Whose husbands like the hot poker in a cold bun.
Nothing is better to me than to watch two women or men fight over a loser or who will talk about their neighbors and steal,

I moved to LA over a year ago and instead of my neighbors coming over to welcome me and talk to me and see what I'm like' OH NO! I go outside they stand across the street and say terrible things and they don't even know me WOW I always had the idea that LA was the nicest place ever and heard the people were caring,friendly, helping great come on over to the BBQ kind of people, but I have to say I have not been invited or welcomed by anyone here!! I am not expecting anyone to hold my hand but my God if you want to know about me come across the street and ask me' don't just stand there and say terrible things about someone you don't know?? I am a nice person who is a helping funny friendly giving and caring person you are missing out neighbors.

I must say that does not apply to all the people in CP.I would have introduced myself to any new neighbor and offer a helping hand,i am sorry that you experienced this type of behavior.I will say welcome to my town and may your new home be filled with numerous blessings.

CP people are ignorant backwoods hicks who fear anything different from their tiny little world. Also, they have really small brains and treat everyone like crap.
