Make Crystal Meth legal!!!

Its common knowledge that there are chemical similarities between the key chemicals in Adderall (dextroamphetamine, C9H13N) and meth (methamphetamine, C10H15N). The two are amphetamines, they both act similarly, their chemical structure is almost identical, and yet one is prescribed to children. So, why isn't meth just legalized and taxed?

Why make criminals like Mexico's Carlos Slim so rich?

Also why force stores to sell Claritin in limited quantities to customers? Its a waste of time. Any substance, like food, cigarettes, alcohol, and etc. can be abused. Online, people can order generic Claritin tablets in blister packs in bulk at websites like www.allerox.com . People need to be responsible adults and just use things in moderation.

Hey Peaceout, I agree with you. In fact I think all drugs should be legal. However, if some crack head overdoses, I don't think tax payers should have to foot the bill to keep the guy alive. In other words, whether it be alcohol, drugs, or what ever, let the overdosers die instead of rushing them to a hospital and reviving them. I know that sounds a little harsh, but it just makes good sense.

Also, if we allow drugs to be legalized, then anything that requires a prescription should be legal too. That's only fare. Why should I have to go to a doctor to get some medication? If I know I need penicillan (not sure about the spelling) for an infection or a tetnis shot because I stepped on a rusty nail, why can't I just run down to the corner drug store and buy it. That would change a lot of things in our health care industry, making things a lot cheaper. It worked for Michael Jackson. Oh, I know, he blew it on that last injection, but how many times had he probably done that before and it was just fine? He may have been taking those injections for 10 or 15 years. He was getting too old anyway and looked like a deflated cabbage patch doll, so it was probably good he cashed it in.

What's the difference between an alcoholic and a drug addict?

An alcoholic will steal your wallet, confess the next day, and feel terrible for the rest of their life. A drug addict will offer to help you look for your wallet.

Talk to anyone who has been sober from METH for more than ten years and ask them if they think it should be legal. Meth will have you starving your kids, living in filth, with no teeth and stringy hair.

The benefits of stimulant ADD medication can be significant for children, but there is a reason why they are prescribed and not available over the counter. Just because something can be easily obtained doesn't mean we should just not try regulate it for public safety. You don't have to make it easier for people to hurt themselves and other people.

That being said, there is a direct relationship between methamphetamine abuse and increased incidents of domestic violence and child abuse.

Because people are frequently unable to moderate their behavior, sometimes things need to be illegal.
