Hey ya'll, I'm a displaced Texan, looking for info about my dive instructor from the Admiral Arms Inn down in South Caicos in 1979-1980, Garrison McGiver (McKiver?). A fellow Texan, wonder if he ever made it back?

Mac! What the hell are you up to? It's been a long time old friend. I remember when you left Houston back in the 70s to go diving. I also remember your girlfriend there. Not to worry, I took good care of her for you. I think her name was Mary.

Hi Mac!
This is Mark Hudson who was stationed at Coast Guard LORSTA South Caicos between 1979 to 1980. The crew gave me the nickname "Beep."
Just wanted to say hi and thank you for teaching me to dive while I was stationed on South Caicos.
I remember you well after all these years and your girlfriend Sharon. I appreciated both of your company and kindness.

I also have some pictures of the old Coast Guard station from 2001. Structurally looks okay, but he inside is a bit of a wreck.
