Supervisor of Election

I am fairly new to the area, only a few years now. Any of you know much about the Supervisor race and the Williams woman running for office? Someone said she worked in the office in the past and has experience. I met her tonight and she seemed friendly enough.

Lookin on Topix for political advice is like expecting a quality bible lesson when going to the brothel

"She seems friendly enough." Why would anyone use this as a criteria. Look at the two candidates and see who is more qualified. She worked as a clerk for the Board of Commissioners and then went to Supervisor of Elections, and then opened a store of some kind, and is now employed elsewhere.

For some folks"friendly enough"is good qualification to run for public office.Looks like there is another community somewhere in worst shape then WC.You need to be a little friendly and everything "works.

Ms. Williams will have my vote! She is qualified to do the job and I always preferred her help over the others (including the Supervisor) when she worked there.

You seem mighty informed to act so uninformed.

She has alot of great new ideas that I think would be very beneficial to the voters. I spoke to her briefly and was very impressed. In my opinion, the new blood in there will be more productive. Go ahead and bash me from here, but frankly, I don't care.

You have to be careful about all those "new" ideas when you are the supervisor of elections. You have a state-mandated way of operating and there is not much room for varying.

She is a nice person.

Another mighty informed person. Anyone can see right through this entire topic. You started being nice with a post then answered yourself in a negative way. Now you have given an informed opinion about the office. You do not fool me one bit.

You seem overly sensitive to any type of remark that does not give 100 percent to the candidate. I have simply expressed my opinion, but you do not seem to respect that right that I have. It is not my intention to fool anyone, but it is my intent to express an opinion. Campaigning on Topix is dangerous.

Then why are you doing it. I have not mentiond one persons name. I simply made an obvious observation and this is not the only topic that this has occurred. It also was started the same way on the other so called political topics.

Maybe Topix is somewhat dangerous but somethimes gives you informations you are not going to hear during campaign meetings.Going aroung with flyiers and shaking hands to me is waste of time and gas.

It appears that you were right...Griffins crew working behind the scenes for her! Sad really!

Did I miss something? I don't read where anyone has attacked Griffin. Stop trying to make this more than what it is. I have talked with both candidates and neither of them have said one thing about the other.

If you're so "in the know" then you also know that new is better than old.. old has let things go on way too long, even after they'd been reported.. and cause old... cheated on a spouse, left a spouse, and had what looked to be, the current partner riding in the parade along side today,... while the ex spouse, poor thing, walked carrying signs! It was disgusting, even those that had been riding the fence, have decided... and old is out, for many.... jmo

Oh now Bobby Haddock is a crook! You people are really out there huh? I have known Trell since we were children, and have talked with her about this very incident. And, I can tell you that the only reason she was even involved with the law is because her name was used to buy the cell phone, not because it was hers! She never went to any prison or jail or anywhere else trying to take anything to an inmate! You all know so much, not to know anything at all! Give it up!
