This is not just livestock but about ALL food. The WTO plans control of worldwide food from farm to fork. How can you have a garden when the “Guide to Good Farming Practices” requires, manuals, records, fines and inspections ?

My comments is that it is not complete. You point out that the government is trying to implement NAIS and the small farmer's objections to it. But you barely touch the surface of the problem.

I, too am a small livestock farmer. Long before NAIS is made mandatory (yes, USDA will make it mandatory. Read their own documents.), rules such as meat from farms that do not have a Premise ID prohibited from school lunch programs restrict the freedom of choice. I will not comply with NAIS so I can not sell to the school. The local purchaser for the school is prohibited from buying from a farmer without the ID, even if it is cheaper, local (and American).

The problem with NAIS is that the government has absolutely authority in the Constitution to write the regulations or spend the Citizens tax dollars bribing the States to implement it.

You, as a member of "the press" should be well aware of the US Constitution. Please, read all of it, not just the First Amendment. And then report each and every time the government oversteps it is Constitutional authority.
