The teens that got probation, are they going to have to pay restitution for what they did or is the city going to have to pay for it?

That is a good question above. Actually since they are minors, their parents or guardian have legally responsibilities for their children. I feel it is them that should be court ordered to pay complete restitution for the damages. And as part of the probationary terms, the juveniles should be required to do so many hours of grounds maintenance at the facilites they vandalized.

Parents need to take more responsibility for their teens.
The children need to be taught to respect these facilities.

This is to the parents of teen vandals. Do you feel that you should be held responsble for your childs actions when they are busted for vandilism or any other criminal act? explain why you feel this way.

If you were in the situation you would understand parents do NOT control their children we can only guide them to the right thing so for those who posted the parents should be held responsible have probably no children or never been in this situation I hope you never are in this situation I do not hold parents responsible.

Partents should be knowledgeable about what their children are doing at all times! In general, parents are indeed responsible for their children's actions, therefore, they should take the time to make sure their children aren't exploiting themselves or others! Even though the parent did not do the damage, they would eventually pay for it in some way, shape or from!

Their parents should be ordered to pay for all damages. The brats should be castrated.

If you have to go to court for a teen, who do you think the judge will access the fine to? You, the parents. So don't think that parents are not responsible, the law states that we are. You can't watch them 24 hours a day but you can make a difference if you

I think that parents should not be resonsible for teen vandals because the teen isnt actually learning from their mistakes. If they were responsible for paying for the damage then they may learn and it will not occur again.
