Think twice before eating at Casa Del Taco...

I am disgusted by what I have witnessed today at Casa Del Taco... I understand it is fast food and the workers are surely underpaid, but there is no excuse for dropping the beef scoop on the floor, kicking it across the floor, picking it up and immediately using it to scoop meat onto a taco salad. That is disgusting. I hope everyone reads this to be warned of what they may be serving you. If this goes on in front of the customer then I can only imagine what is happening in the kitchen.

I would have called them out on the spot and caused a big scene. Did you just leave then come post on here?

Which location was this? I have never seen anything wrong with the Western Ave. location. I went to the Bridge St. location and always went through in a car and other than the building being in poor condition couldn't really see anything else. I went through in a truck and could see inside the kitchen area, and must say I didn't eat what I bought! It was a mess! Looked filthy.

I am referring to the bridge street location, though I cannot imagine the western location being any cleaner. I am not one to cause a scene although I did insist on being refunded and pointed out the disgusting behavior to the other customer in line behind me, we both left feeling sick that we had eaten such filth in the past. And yes on a side note the physical condition of the building is also appalling. The roof is constantly leaking and despite several customers being leaked on complaining about it they have still done nothing. I am baffled the health department could allow such a thing.

I am baffled as well. They are so strict with some places, as well they should be, and glad they are, but I don't see how this place passes. The one on Western, I have been inside and it at least LOOKS clean, and I guess I assumed that it was because it was newer and the building looked so much nicer. The wierd thing is I went to Hobby Lobby today and as I was coming out at the light I thought, for just a second, about going to Casa! Then the picture of the kitchen came into my mind, and I didn't stop. I usually read the health dept. reports in the paper, and can't remember when the last time Casa was in there.

Can't even discuss anything on here, that is relevant to a lot of people without having sluggs like you two coming in and making stupid comments. Is that all you people have to do?

Unacceptable behavior, but your reactions seem a little over dramatic to me personally. I'm more concerned when people store meat improperly. It seems as though the Health Dept agrees with me on that one. That's usually what I see people getting reprimanded for in the paper. Shame on you New Grand Buffet.

Truth be known original poster is just mad because they charged her for extra cheese the big sow!! So I'm not going to say anything just wait till I get home them I'll bash the business on topix from the safety and comfort of my own home...Because I'm not very confrontational !!! What a crock!!

you obviously work there since you claim to know who is complaining, which means you're the gross ass that reused a dirty kitchen utensil. shame on you for being a disgusting person. and obviously something was said if a refund was demanded, idiot. just because you didn't graduate high school and get a real job, doesn't mean you have the right to serve tainted food because your life sucks and you're too lazy to walk to get a clean equipment.

The Western Ave location's food is of very poor quality. I went in the on Sunday and left with only a cherry coke after witnessing the appearance of the food that looked old and overcooked. The staff all acted like they were too busy to walk to the counter and take my order, but I was the only one in the store. They definitely need new management there, that's inexcusable.

All this talk about Casa del taco is making me want some...mmmmmmmm road trip....Mexican Chef Salad sounds good

Seems like you run into this a lot especially evening hours at the fast food places. Poor management and poor supervision, and kids "working", term used very lightly.

I will never eat at Casa Del Taco ever again! They should be ashamed of themselves. They are supposed to be a local business serving the community, instead they are making the community ill.

Really people, no fast food is good for you, but Casa has got to be one of the worst. The simple fact that they improperly handle and store their meat, their kitchens and utensils are dirty, their staff is lazy and rude, and they over charge for food that isn't high quality.

So many people like their food. Usually how people do things like this in public and in a restaurant is how they live at home. You would think they would use a little more common sence, but they don't just like some of the comments on here. Some people are so clueless about being clean! I for one am glad you posted this, I won't be going there again.
