John Parsons Captured in Ross County

well his mom will probally go to jail too.i wonder how many others helped him to escape capture?

Dozens I am sure. What type of idiot would be on the run that long and stay 2 miles from the jail house? All that time and it seems like he wasn't even really trying to stay hidden. Nicols couldn't find his butt with both hands and a map.

i do not believe he is guilty i believe the rumor going around it was his brother chad turned him in then i hesrd chad hung himself if this rumor is true i believe john is not guilty, i also met john a few different occasions and he was always a gentlemen have seen him in a bar very quiet never roudy, l believe he is innocent and larry cox would never want anyone who is innocent to go to jail, larry was a great man.

How strange? It seems as if the local judical system has a needle primed for John Parsons, IT SHOCKED ME THAT HE WAS NOT SHOR BY SOME STUPID REDNECK DEPUTY He is only an alleged killer, nothing has been proveN. The change of venue to Portsmouth is a joke as his story has been on the Huntington, Columbus, and Cincinnati television news as well as all the local papers. To get an inpartial jury one must move the case northern Ohio were the jury pool has not been tainted by media coverage and is free from the stupid, small town hysteria of a lynch mob!

Think about this. You are accused of a crime you did not commit. You know that the resources of the Ross County Sheriff's Dept. is limited. You are sitting in jail, knowing that these people have no other leads, no other suspects, other than you, who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. You are going to die for something you did not do. Or, you did it, your caught, end of story. Think about it, they caught you. He was obviously smart enough to think up a way to break out of a county jail, he would be smart enough to think..Im busted, they have evidence, its over right? But what if you didnt do it. Are you going to sit there and let them kill you over something you did not do. They are not going to look any further into anything. They are going on the fact that you just happened to rob a store that day. You are going to do everything in your power to get the hell out of there. I would rather die trying to escape knowing I did not do anything then die for something I had absolutely nothing to do with. Why would you go through all that trouble for? Open your mind people. This man is a smart individual. Where is the evidence. I havent heard any other than he robbed a store that day and took off running. I myself do not believe the man did it. I pray for him, his family, and for the family of Larry Cox. If he was such a hard core killer, why didnt he break in someones house, kill them, and take there money and a car and split. He stayed around here, because he is not a killer. He was is a victim of circumstance.

From everything I have heard and saw I truly believe he is innocent.A crime of bad timing. I understand that the convience store clerk reported there was a scar on the perps face which goes along that it was actually Chad he did the crime. AS far as poor Larry Cox it is a shame for I new him and he was a great guy. I have suspicions that it was actually friendly fire that killed him and the local yocals needed someone to take the fall for their mistake. Why are they no longer with the department. Isn't that strange.I thought so.

im related to john parsons and all that bull crap that people are saying isnt true do i thank that he killed cox no i dont and i still dont even though he pled guilty he was a good guy from what i knew bout him i didnt know him very well but who cares he didnt do it

Everyone I know can understand he is innocent, why couldn't the prosecution?? John is my friend and he will never see the streets again... He had a lot of respect for officer cox.. John didn't kill him. John never killed anyone.

i knew john he gave me and a friend a ride the very first time i met him he didnt know me from adam...he was a very nice guy and friend he was always a gentelmen. i know he isnt a killer there is no way he could be he is a victim of circumstances and i think his case should be opened back up and taken a look at cause he is not th killer and the killer is still out there on the streets who knows if he/she has killed befor or again..and officer cox was a great man he was the best DARE cop i have ever had , he was greatly loved and sadly missed ...but i dont think john is guilty and should be set free!

I dont think john killed larry cox,Either~The hole investagation,Was botched in the begaineing,Were is all the proff? I dont see it,As larry cox,He was a good man,I thought a lot of him.But,They needed a fall guy,And john was close,The way he got out of the county jail,(Its fishy)He had all he needed to get out,All the cameras there,No one seen him? I think they had it set for him to excape,one day and he moved up,I think they were going to kill him,ross county,isnt very smart,Were he went in the woods,(I no that area),As they were getting ready to go in,He was home resting,And laughing at them!Thank you! hey on the show they say he was trying to come to canada. well fuck if he did i would let him sleep in my own damn bed. ide wait on him hand and foot. this guy was cleary too smart to be locked up and he knew it. i love him so much. he is an inpiration. what a great story. what an amazing escape. i wish everyone would just leave him alone. i send you my prayers and to his family n friends i hope u guys are ok. his story is an inspiration.

Well i watched the t.v show on John and now I am looking to find him and write him. I like to know what and how people feel about things that they have done

get off the subject it old news like back in 2006 when he escape.

John didn't shoot officer Cox, so before putting the man down people need too get the facts straight. He's an innocent man spending the rest of his life behind bars for something he didn't do. yeah he pled quilty too it but it was because of his brother. his brother was in poor health and was not suppose too have much time too live so he took the rapp for Chad.

If his brother "didn't have much time to live", wouldn't it have made sense for him to do the time for his own crime then? So how is Chad these days?

I really think John is one of those innocent persons in jail , and later , maybe years from now the truth will come out! Let's just hope sooner than later for a innocent person !!
