In hindsight, I guess I did kind of word the title wrong. I'm a single dad. My top priority is being a dad and providing for my boy. This leaves very little free time for dating and things of that nature. Plus, I don't think its a good idea to walk people in and out of my son's life. But, at the same time I have a void. Wow, you definitely have your priorities in line. Good dad! The part about walking people in and out of your son's life could not be more spot on. Yes, you deserve and desire companionship, but if it doesn't work out between you and she, your son may have to mourn the loss of another mother. Kids get attached very quickly. I admire your dedication to your son. Someone should scoop you up straight away!!! You are a rarity in today's times. There would be far fewer screwed up kids in the world if other single parents shared your school of thought. I salute you.

Maybe you should think of yourself an your kids, find a good women an have a relationship. Being a single dad an all. You could so end up with a killing disease then where would your kids be.
