Also from the bible Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."....

Yet you guys still think it's okay to be a homosexual?? I just don't understand how you can think it's okay.. For one it's disgusting and for two god doesn't agree with it?? If you wanna go to heaven, I would advise quitting now if you ever even want a hope of going..

Okay, so if you lie, drink, gamble, cheat, or have ever thought about cheating (because that is the same as cheating according to your Bible) or even if you've gotten on topix and slandered someone else, which I'm sure you have, then you have committed one of these sins, such as homosexuality. You want to take the Bible in its literal sense...then we are all going to hell....See ya there!

You can't help being gay. It's not like you wake up one morning and say, "today's a really good day to make a bunch of people hate me! Hmmm what should I do? Oh, I know, I'll be gay! That'll really get 'em!" No. it doesn't work like that. God made the homosexuals, so why the hell isn't He accepting them?

Obviously you know nothing about the christian religion. Yes if you do all of these things they are all sins and if you continue down the path of these sins then yes you will go straight to hell but if you commit these sins and repent and ask god for his forgiveness from the bottom of your soul and quit the folly then you will be forgiven.

God will give you obstacles to over come and to test your faith in him. That being said I have met several people from all different walks of life that were "born gay" and asked Jesus into their hearts and overcame their homosexuality. Temptations are everywhere and for some people certain temptation are stronger then others. but you have to see it for what it is and it is sin.

the bible may say that, but people always say "god made everyone who they are" blah blah blah ... there are so many sins out there . but being gay is the only one that gets the most attention . kind of pathetic .. being gay,bi, lesbian isn't a choice. your born that way. just like how you was born a ignorant bible thumping ass straight asshole , people are born gay, bi, lesbian. if its a sin to give your heart to the person you truly love , then god needs to check himself before he wrecks himself .

Screw religion. All you guys argue about is what's right and what's wrong. The bible was written and re written many times. If more Christians READ the bible, we wouldn't have many Christians. Homosexuality is not natural? Oh well I guess talking snakes are. Oh, and homosexuality is found in over 450 species. Homophobia is found only in one. If you guys would actually think, then our world wouldn't be so horrible.

Cheating is one of the deadly sins, so is stealing. Also, saying things like "God dammit, Jesus Christ, Jesus h Christ" whatever, you also go to Hell for that.... It is also a sin to JUDGE others. But apparently Christians haven't realized that yet.

I have always believed that is far worse to be greedy, a liar, a cheater, a deceiver, shallow, jealous, vain, boring, cruel.

Then to just love someone that is the same sex as yourself.

I'm not religious, but I believe that if there is a Jesus Christ, that he wants us to love everyone as the same. He doesn't want you to judge someone else.

And if there isn't, screw religion. How is a book to tell us what is right, and what is wrong? Don't live your life based on a tale that could or couldn't be true.

That's what I have to say on the matter.

And you can't "overcome", sexuality. You're born gay, just like you're born straight.

There is a difference between judging someone and spreading and living by god's word. Yes all of those things are sins but you all need a lesson in that fact that we have a merciful and forgiving god. Man was made to sin everybody does it but what makes a godly person is someone who asks for forgiveness and works towards living a more godly life. Had this been a discussion between homosexuals and I came on here hating on them and telling them they were personally wrong then I would understand why people would be upset with me but I am commenting on a forum that asked if it was a sin or not and to me it is and i gave my reasoning which is the word of god take it or leave it there will always be two sides to this argment and they will both have valid points. But ultimately I will be judged for my sins and so will you.
