Adena Housekeepers Slackers

I am an RN at Adena Hospital and I take my hat off to the 1/2 of the housekeepers out at the hospital who do their job while the other 1/2 of the housekeeping staff is slacking off and not doing their job so 50% of the workers have to do most of the work. I, for one, really appreciate the hard workers and how well they do their jobs. I just wanted to say if they think it goes unnoticed, it doesn't. It actually helps me do my job better and stay focused if I don't have to constantly try to work around garbage, in dirty conditions,etc. and if I can stay focused on MY job, then it obviously also helps the patients, so thanks for all the hard workers out there in housekeeping at Adena. They don't get paid enough to do the job/hard work that they do!

If you have such a problem with this, why not make your complaints internally rather than on here? You are the type of employee Adena needs to rid itself of, negativity breeds negativity

I am making an observation and giving credit where credit is due. My post is to encourage those girls who do more than their share to make up for those who don't do theirs. What is negative about that? If YOU got something negative out of that, then it sounds like YOU are the negative person who breeds negativity and can take a positive post and try to make something negative out of it.

No, I just know there are more appropriate channels to give kudos to these people instead of a forum that generally causes trouble, which is what your post intends to do.

It's obvious that you are one of the slackers at the hospital which is why you are so offended by this post which is not at all negative unless you're one of the slackers. Nothing was negative about it until you came along with your attitude. Just showing appreciation because if it were to be brought up to one of the supervisors, they are actually part of the problem at the hospital and do not do their job either with making sure everyone is carrying their own weight. Speaking of appropriate, it would be appropriate for you to keep your 2 cents to yourself and stay off a post complimenting hard workers if you are not included in that group (obviously)

All I know is when I'm at work at Adena, all I smell is sex and candy, makes one wonder, when does any work get done? They treat the hard working personal as slaves, though the staff who are lazy and just there to get a check are treated as if they were the cream of the crop. I guess there is some truth behind the "sayings" at Adena from the upper management in H.R., "Your outstanding in your field" and "You couldn't handle the truth." Maybe one day the truth will be showing in a new light as why Adena has fired and set up good hard working employees just so they can hire friends of friends. Then those who run Adena set back and wonder why the place has a bad reputation.

I'm surprised a infestation of crabs,bed bugs and S.T.D's hasen't taken place. I'm so glad I quit, thought I feel sad for those who are pateints there. I thought it was a medical center... not a hotel/motel for "The Chosen Employees & Management." to ride the train, WOO WOO!!!

I'm just curious what size shoe do you wear Adena RN? You really put your foot deep up in Mommas' ass!!! You go girl!!!

I DO know.. I work there and see what happens on a daily basis and who does what and who gets away with not doing what.

Hey momma I think you should read this first...It say's the supervisor's are part of the problem.

Tell me about it thats the reason i no longer work in housekeeping.. I had to move on after it took me so long to get on it was a wast of time....

Thank you very much Adena RN. I work very hard to make up for the lack of management and them letting everyone slide by with doing nothing. I'm glad that someone recognizes that some of us do work very hard. Makes me feel that it isn't all for nothing. housekeeping needs to be investigated by Adenas upper management. They might change their attitudes then.

Yes" I feel bad for half of the housekeepers.. That has to make up for the work for the none working housekeepers. Adena just needs to get rid of the supervisor's all together. Because the supervisors are friends with the housekeepers that doen't do there work. They are just a bunch of worthless supervisors.

Adena Supervisore are to do and I qoute..."We are here to observe and only to observe, never to get envolved with employees daily housekeeping duties." I was told this by Housekeeping Supervisor... maybe I'm working in the wrong department.

AdenaRN, sounds like your one of the RN's out of manny that seam to think the world revolves around you.Perhaps others could do a better job but so could you. RN's like youself could step down to reality. Start doing your job. Patients on a 4 hr med routation..dont happen because your too buisy picking Doritoes out of your buts. Get off the cell phones and in the patients room for a change.Too buissy flurting with others that wouldnt give your ugly worn out face a chance.Spend a lot more time conversating with the Paients and less time looking in the glass for a reflection thats only going to reveal ugly
