I agree with 82angst. If the facts are inaccurate, point it out. Otherwise don't accuse them of being inaccurate. Maybe Chillicothe is the way that it is because people don't back up their points.

What he violated in 31 days??? What makes the difference he violated probation, he didn't get anything else for stealing and for arson. He is still in trouble with the law, hasn't learned a think. I do believe I know what I am talking about I know the family. Lots of legal issues.

I lived in the carlisle right before that, and it was a beautiful place.I also worked with Chance bout a year ago and he still brags about it, so it is kinda hard to forget about it with someone acting like that. His whole family meaning his siblings are nothing but pieces of shit too.For the Cousins boy if his daddy wasnt a cop he would have got in trouble, and that is the problem with this world if your mommy or daddy is a cop or a fireman you dont get in trouble.Should we forgive terrorists if their parents are cops I think not.

I think that the city should've started fixing it 10yrs ago instead of letting it go to this point. They've had meetings about fixing it for years apon years, but nothing has been done. Instead of meeting about it, they could've put their words into action and it wouldn't be a hazard to our community. I honestly think they need to just burn it down. Its the easiest way to fix that problem. As for chance and dustin, they did what they did...life moves on. Let it go. Your brain doesn't fully develope until your about 23 years old...they were ignorant and made a mistake, everyone makes dumb choices at a young age. You live and you learn. Chance is a good father to his children and so is dustin. They're both trying to get their lives on track. So quit blaming people, and complaining and do something about it if it is such a big deal to you.

But I'll take your excellent advice and ignore that monstrosity downtown. Because if you don't talk about it surely isn't a problem, right??

In no way, shape, or form could those three (or almost anyone in Chillicothe), make the SEVERAL million needed to even begin restoring that building. Even the day after the fire damaged that building, a restoration would have cost a small fortune. I have worked on property restorations, and from what I have seen I believe building is basically beyond repair now. All this 'restoration' talk has been a ploy to cash in on some insurance/grant money and then split.

I'm sure if this guy had a house in the city that burnt down, he wouldn't let it just set and rot. And the city would fine the shit out of him for not cleaning up his property.

every "fact" on this page is completely inaccurate. to bad i couldn't have burned down topixs main frame instead. for starters we did do time right from the start...i ended up doing three years myself {all my own fault and for the best because i didn't end up a pill head like the rest of chillicothe}and did get sued for 70k and each of my parents as well, same goes for dustin and his family. also funny that one of you said i should be up there rebuilding for free because 3 years ago i was in there cleaning it out with the historic society up until i kept getting pulled over every time i walked outside. i really regret doing it and it was mostly my fault not dustins. i regret it not because i had to go to jail but mainly because it was a dumb thing to do when i was 15 and i didnt understand the importance of the building and the consequences of my action as most 15 year old's dont hence why they dont give them a licence. but in the end what's done is done so get your loser asses off the computer and go live your own life instead of talking about others...who knows you might just find something better to talk about. Besides this story's played out...... P.S. you wouldnt believe how many crack pipes i found in that apartment complex upstairs =/ and to all those who i have personally affected by my actions i sincerely apologize and to those of you just talking sh*t because thats all you are full of, go eat a d*ick!

I used to know a girl who said she lived in the very top apartment not long before the fire. I don't know if it was true or not. Did they rent apartments then? I always thought I would like to visit her and see the inside and look out her window. Wish now I had. In fact when I came home from work the night of the fire I was very concerned that she still lived there, so she must have moved out shortly before.

No one mentioned on here that the little theives were in there to STEAL. The fire was an accident because of what they were stealing. I don't know Dustin, but if he is giving back so much to the community, why isn't he doing something for this building. The other boys mom didn't have anything they could take! Her money was being used!!! His name is in the paper still for being in trouble with the law. He didn't learn much. Lots of family problems. They violated that probabation they were on in less than 30 days.
To correct you it probation not probabation and just to let you know the court case was 5 to 6 months long and we was on probation from the start so thats way past 30 days and at the end of the case we did a mandatory 2 months in jdc. so in conclusion at least a year passed before i and i alone violated "probabation" for failing a urinalysis for marijuana...dustin on the other did not fail probation! If you people want or need real facts go to the library and look at the newspaper articles and get the real facts!! not everything you read or put on the internet is a fact and there are other sources of information so once again i urge you to get off your lazy asses and the computer.

I heard there was a party and they needed extension cords. and they were sent to find some at the building. swear that's what someone told me right after it happened. and also heard they couldn't see so they wrapped tp around a stick or something and lit it on fire for light but was a total accident any truth I mean it's over with and shit but I'd like to know if that's a lie or half truth also chance no disrespect to you or Dustin my grandpa use to work with Dustin's dad and they are very decent people for the record
