yea thank God you have a job, you can support the people on welfare and help them buy their drugs while you are busting your butt to work and try to raise your family. Haven't heard anything about a strike!!

If need be we are all ready to walk the picket line....I'm sure that Angela Wofford the plant manager wants alll that we have.... The place has went down hill bad since she came back....when she has her meetings she ask if anyone has a question..... If you dare ask a question then she goes off ..... She should be flipping burgers at Mccdys....she is crazy plus there is no communication what so ever....?the new supervisors are dumber than a box of rocks....where did they get these guys? Get rid of Angela and a few more out of the front office and things might get better...... If not ... "Weeee Strikeeeeeee".......

Unions are the reason we pay $20,000.00 for a $10,000.00 car

They work all the time cause they are behind on orders. What didn't help was the tornadoes putting out all the electricity. So, they didn't have electricity for a long time, which made them get even more behind. At least they have a job to go to.

Are you a f***ing retard. Unions keep things fair, until the work place learns to treat all employees equally then there will always be a place for a union.I don't ever see that happening.

Oooh, how horrible! Forcing people to take time and a half or even double time pay! Making people work to fill orders instead of shutting the doors! I'd strike too! Those ba$tards, keeping jobs and work here instead of shipping it offshore!(note heavy sarcasm). While the rest of the country is bemoaning record poverty and unemployment rates, that you ingrates even considered striking shows how lazy America has become. Whatever happened to working to get what you need? Oh yeah - unions and Democrats, that's wht happened to work ethic, personal responsibility, and the American Dream that doesn't include a gumment chck at the first of the month.

Many employers are taking advantage of the high unemployment rate. Working conditions are becomming more difficult, demanding and stressful. Just wished I could take a hike !
Suck it up and keep on taking the punishment as long as possible !

Manufacturers would have you believe you pay $20,000 for a $10,000 car. In reality, you pay, $20,000 for bout $7,000 car. Because manufacturers are NOT going to lose profits. They will jack up the price and blame it all on the union. Yet you know this and continue to buy the car. If you don't have cash to buy that car...Their finance companies can finance it for you at an interest rate that is illegal in almost every other civilized country in the world. I wish unions were no longer necessary, but I can see the potential need rising again. Virginia is a work at will state...you can be released at any time for any reason....workers are again reaching a place here their rights are more and more limited. You do a good job you should have some security...the sad thing is that sometimes it takes union to do the things that should be common sense/golden rule/ right thing to do.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Gemini

Beware wishful thinking because it will cloud your thoughts and lead to confusion. However, that's much easier said than done, because today you're showing distinct tendencies towards living in a rosy world of your own and ignoring any hard facts that are under your nose. Take care that you don't allow someone to dupe you simply because you aren't paying attention to what they're saying or doing.
