Why would Barack Obama, President of the United States authorize the transfer of $2 Billion of American Tax Dollars to Brazil for Oil Exploration and drilling while the US oil industry has been functionally "shut down" by the Obama Administration...? "Gulf Oil CEO Joe Petrowski says President Barack Obama’s weekend comments in Brazil that the United States looks forward to purchasing oil drilled for offshore by that nation “is rather puzzling,” and “hypocritical” as his administration has imposed a virtual moratorium on domestic drilling. The signal to purchase more foreign oil comes after the U.S. Export-Import Bank invested more than $2 billion with Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration." http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/GulfOil-Jo... "Obama raised the ire of the U.S. energy industry, unions and jobless Americans everywhere when the President, who has shut down drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, seemed to embrace deep water drilling. Not here, but in Brazil! When Obama promised to create Jobs, I thought he was talking about in America, not Brazil. To help Brazil develop their deepwater quest he is using our hard earned tax payer dollars. The Wall Street Journal reported that,'The U.S. government's export credit agency has authorized $3 billion in financing for Brazil, including $2 billion for the Brazilian government-run oil company, Petroleo Brasileiro SA, or Petrobras.' Somewhere investor George Soros must be smiling." http://www.futuresmag.com/News/2011/3/Pages/O... "This is not the first we have heard of Obama’s support of Brazilian oil. In June, The New American covered a story on President Obama’s relationship with Petrobras, a Brazilian oil company to which Obama transferred $2 billion in American tax dollars. It was no coincidence that Obama’s associate George Soros had also invested $637 million in Petrobras, according to SEC filings at the time, particularly since the oil company already boasted $15 billion a year in profits and did not require the assistance of the Obama administration." http://thenewamerican.com/tech-mainmenu-30/en... Just Google- "Obama Brazil oil drilling" and 2.75 million references show up... 2.75 million references to Obama authorizing the transfer of $2 Billion of American Tax money to Brazil...! Chalk another one up for the Soros/Obama Gang of Compassionate Liberal/Democrat $MULTI-MILLIONAIRES$ who just got a little bit $RICHER$ at the expense of the American Middle-Class worker...!

You can tell these people are getting really desperate when the have to bring back a 2009 email hoax and bunch of spin doctoring done by Glenn Beck. The Obama administration never gave a loan to Petrobras or signed any kind of executive order regarding these transactions. This started on April 14, 2009, when the national Import-Export Bank, whose board members are appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate, approved a commitment of $2 billion in loans for the oil company. Interesting to note the Chairman at that time was James H. Lambright; appointed by President George Bush. So wrap that one around your head.

So here are some facts straight from the loan source: http://www.exim.gov/brazil/petrobasfacts.cfm By the way, they are self sustaining, NO TAX PAYER DOLLARS SPENT. And they actually generated over $3.4 billion dollars for US taxpayers in the last 5 years. TWP go post your crap on the blaze.com where it belongs.

The Wall Street Journal reports: "The United States, through the U.S. Export-Import Bank, has issued a 'preliminary commitment' of $2 billion and more if needed" to Petroleo Brasileiro SA, a Brazilian government-owned oil exploration and development corporation known as "Petrobras." Petrobras is exploring and developing what has been described as the "huge offshore discovery” of Brazil's Tupi field in Santo Basin near Rio de Janero. According to reports, the site could yield as much as 1 million barrels of oil per day. The Soros Fund Management LLC holds a stake in Petrobras in the amount of $900 million as of Dec. 31, 2009.
