About damn time. Just like the rest of the sloppy Hwy.99 work the engineers screwed up on this as well. The problem is they never leveled (graded?) it properly. They left hills which they should have leveled (to save money?) which leads to a slight obscuring of your viewpoint, unless you're in a very tall truck (cammercial style). Most people pulling onto 99 are affected by this. This, plus the angle the roads meet, causes people to incorrectly estimate a safer situation than exists.

Cars and especially trucks accelerating from a dead stop will increase air pollution. I suggest placing a barricade down the center of the freeway. Problem solved.

The hwy 149/99 interchange was built to expedite traffic at what cost only to have traffic stop at the Butte Creek Country Club's stop light. Now they're putting in another freeway stop light to inhibit the flow of traffic. Explain.

No to stop lights, all they accomplish is to feed the trough feeding judicial system, accidents are rarely reduced and in some instances increased. I say for courts greed and profit. If it is installed, which I hope it is not, I want red light cameras everywhere. This eliminates the profiting for legal disputes. Now may be a great time to instal an outlandish huge round about, knowing the aria will soon eventually be highly developed. Probably with low rent housing, jails, court houses, porn shops, tattoo parlors, Democratic head quarters and casinos.

How long before a red light runner causes an accident as southbound drivers still angry at stopping at the Country Club's stop light race down the freeway only to meet another stop light.

I worked at a company along 99, across from Peterson Tractor, long before the extra lanes were added, and saw the results of many accidents, some killers, at the Southgate/Entler/99 intersection. When traffic lights were proposed many complained, but I watched as accidents dwindled....when was the last time you heard of an accident at this intersection???? When they proposed the lights at the club entrance I suspected convienience as part of the reason but....when was the last accident???????? And the Neal Road intersection is next. Is there anyone here who would NOT like to see traffic deaths reduced at this intersection???? If so please list the reasons (FGS) why this would not be a good idea...please list "impatience" first; thank you.

The question is Why are you stopping freeway traffic ?
