Police concerned about local sex offender

kudos to Butte Charter who have been on this since day one protecting our kids. I only wish we could rid ourselves of this scumbag so our kids could enjoy the world and not be harrassed or potentially hurt by this moron. He better not ever be seen by me out there.

If kids are not safe using the bike paths then where are they supposed to ride their bikes to go to & from school? This sounds like harrasment to me and isn't that against the law?

If this man (I use the term lightly)is a convicted child molester, why is he not been assigned the most extensive requirements in the terms of his sex offender registration. Why is he being allowed to live so close to childern. Better yet why isn't he still in prison.

Parents, find an adult to supervise your children to and from school or take them yourself. Please don't put them at risk by allowing them to go to and from school unprotected.

We need stricter laws for sex offenders in this country. Maybe on their first offense, castration would be suitable.

So what we have is a bike path that cannot be used for its use due to a slimeball sex offender? And we are going to build a roughly 6 mile path that runs from N. Chico to S. Chico? Will we be allowed to use it all the time? Are there sex offenders living near it? The sex offender sounds like he is looking for some cement shoes and a swim in the Sacramento River

They can't PROVE it. Right now they can't do anything under the law, so they're doing what they can to protect the children: getting the word out.

What the hell? How are the police protecting those children? Is it legal to try to lure children to him when he is a sex offender? Unbelievable! So kids are suppose to stay off the bike path? wouldn't it make more sense to just arrest the fool or make it mandatory that he relocate to an area that is NOT anywhere near kids! Are the police waiting for him to molest another kid before they actually arrrest him?! This is so insane, he shouldn't even be walking after the first molestation he was convicted of. The way the government protects these animals and forces the rest of us to tolerate them is an utter vexation of spirit to me. I am sick and tired of living in this "modern" age where right is wrong and wrong is right. We are being led by the insane who lack common sense and any sort of discernment. It is a real vexation of spirit.

I agree this man should be arrested if what is said is true. But, what about the other deviants out there, the ones who haven't been caught and the public doesn't know about? I think another message here is to PROTECT your children. I think we all have realized by now you can't depend on law enforcement to protect you or your children.
Maybe we should protect ourselves. Arresting or sending this man for a swim in the Sacramento River isn't going to make the streets safer from the other perverts. We all need to watch out for ourselves. And if I sound paranoid, well, maybe I am. I've lived a few years in world, and it isn't always safe.

yes, this moron has been on the bike path around the school. he also has walk by many times when there are little kids at the school . and when we have had activites that bring families to the school and most of them are held outside. i think the moron should be arrested

We should probably just arrest everyone, deny them a trial, and then lynch them.
Eradicating the human race is the only way of solving these issues-and thats not likely. So, be vigilant and protect your own children. If you choose to live in America, EACH individual is agreeing to the laws of this country. If YOU dont like the way the system works, then call your legislator or move.

First off, his actions SHOULD be a violation of parole, or something. No sex offender who has targeted children should be able to do this. But since that seems to be the case, obviously the police have publicized this so we, the citizens, can help. If the system can't punish him for his actions, it's up to us. Yes, his picture, address and his crimes are listed for us to see. WE need to protect our children so... let's do it!
