Man alleging excessive force found innocent

Justice was served to Max. Now the FBI will cut through the cover up and get to the bottom of this rebel cop using excessive force in Paradise!

This should cost Paradise as a penalty for keeping a bad police officer on the payroll. Like Chico, Paradise needs a citizens review committee to watch over their police department. Police Officers investigating themselves isn't enough.

Great so now this drunk gets off scott free and can go on picking fights and threatening people. How come he is not at least charged with drunk in public.

A not guilty verdict, is not saying that the subject is getting off free. He took his punishment dished out by the officer. The officer became the judge & jury and dished out his form of punishment. The officer should have left him in the car, radioed ahead and had other officers waiting in the sally port to assist him with the subject. He should then have charged him with the verbal threats, and allowed the prosecution to get a conviction. It’s amazing that all these incidences happen when these officers have no audio recorders on. They say the batteries were dead, that it was too hard to turn them on. These are excuses that the officers themselves would not tolerate from any subject that they are talking to.

Thats right Shirly... Now the FBI will come down hard on this rebel cop. Keep in mind there are several complaints against this officer. The Subject is free... He was found innocent of the crap charges that were slammed against him. Now the cop will have to anwser for slamming the innocent man while he was defenseless in handcuffs. Being drunk and having a mouth does not deserve to be yanked out of the car and slammed around and choked! Yes I guess he is such a bad ass when he has his subjects in handcuffs. I say take his badge and gun away!

Our country has one out of every 99 people in jail or prison. We have a very messed up law enforcement community. Accidents happen, people make mistakes, police and sheriffs see a lot of bad behavior and they need more exposure to humor, humility, kindness etc.. Prosecutors should facilitate healing, growth and positive steps towards community not pain, sorrow and incarceration.

The basic nature of the individual should be the most important factor in his/her legal judgement. People that need law enforcement to get them on the wagon should get a grip. They are affecting the enforcement community's sanity and mental health.

cooper and pickering routinely pull over people for no reason and come up with a lie to get the innocent motorist out of their car..so they can rifle through it with no probable cause. they lie and break the law every hour of every shift they work. it gives good officers a bad name. im so sick of the paradise police.

LOL,,, check out Mike Armstrong. He's a regular on the Bob & Tom show. He was a cop with a great sense of humor! Wish we had at least one like him up here in 'Paradise',,, might lighten up the whole crew and deviate them baddies from their present course.

Ya, lets hire cops who respond to domestic disputes and yuck it up with the suspect. "so then you pulled her by the hair and slammed her head into the wall!?" "haha, whoo hoo that there is funny! Those 2 cops are notorious in town for this. Don't
know about other cops in town doing it or not. This
is a violation of one's 4th amendment rights to not
be subject to search & seizure without probable cause, but it's been going on for awhile now without
consequence. One citizen tracks their pullovers
daily & said it's like they're out there catching &
releasing fish. They pull over, search, find nothing
& release. This is the modus operandi of PPD.

We have those cops who aid the criminal. we are trying to clean it up. The only thing that the DA. will teach you is he decides who goes to jail innocent or not!!

For one, i was/am effected by these officers, and the DA and sheriff's. And I'm not laughing at this situation sir, trust me, I KNOW this is no joke. it wasn't, and i hope never was/is me that gets mistreated by an officer, but i am involved with an even more serious situation then getting beat, they killed my sister on Clark rd. for peetsake!!
I was saying if the cops had any sence of humor at ALL, they would laugh at these drunks, not beat the crap out of them. Drunks talk *&$#, it's a fact, but that shouldn't give reason to rough them up.
