Budget concerns weigh on residents' minds

Impassioned parents, disabled and elderly came together Wednesday at a community meeting to address possible devastation in Butte County if the governor's proposed budget is passed as is.

Its time for the police to crack down on speeders and drivers who fail to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.A stack of speeding tickets will bring in money needed to run the city, will also make the city safer for bikes and people who walk.

A tremendous example of grass-roots advocacy at its finest. Mr. Levang and all involved should be commended for facilitating forums like these.
