Now, because our worthless justice system works so well, in six years this piece of c r a p will be out to rape and maybe kill someone. He will have six years to learn all kinds of new and happy ways to steal, rape and kill from all of the lovely convicts in prison, and he just might get a free work over by big bubba in the shower room. What a joke the American Justice System !!!!

My friend quit his probation officer job for this very reason. Criminal is guilty, criminal plea bargains, criminal gets off easy. Priceless.

Everyone swaps out. I work every day in the Courts as a prosecutor. People are out of jail before I am out of court.

It has nothing to do with class. It has to do with the lack of integrity from the Board of Supervisors to correctly fund law enforcement, including the jail-so we sold our jail to the Feds- and agreed to release criminals, including sex offenders, into the community faster. It is not just the Board. The citizens have failed to advocate for public safety enhancements at both the city and county level. We need to support enhanced public safety if we want that to stop. That means additional revenue. READ: dedicated public safety taxes.

I wonder if he is related to the public defender dennis hoptowit.

This guy was fortunate to have Latimer for his attorney. He's one of the best criminal attorneys in California.

Up to six years. If this guy has enough money he will get a year, and it most likely won't be in the paper.

6 years IS NOTHING!!! Ask this woman how long this will affect her life. Ask yourself how many other women this sick freak has molested? The man is Hopowit's son. The same public defender that guarantees a conviction for Ramsey everytime he appears for a defendant. Yet he put everything he had in getting his son a great deal. Ramsey's daughter. Hopowit's son. Yep, they take care of their own. I wonder how many future convictions Hopowit promised Ramsey in return?

FYI This fool denied it for over a year! He should get 60 years but he is still out free coaching children's basketball. I am saddened by the justice system.
