How silly it's time we stop busting folks for smoking pot. My goodness what an idiotic country that lets cigarettes be legal and pot illegal. Pot has so many medicinal purposes, and is so much safer and better than booze. Better if you don't have to smoke it but it isn't even close the amount of carcinigens in pot smoke compared to cigarettes. It helps many with aches and pains and is a great relaxant and better choice than alcohol. I am sick of all this nonesense. To think how much money we could save not busting pot smokers, growers or whatever. And if you wanna make it legal then that is ok, but at least stop putting anyone in jail for it.

Dear Greg, I have been around people that have been smoking marijuana and they aren't able to function. I guess this is what you call "Stoned". As I heard a long time ago, "Dopes do Dope". Marijuana is illegal and that's that. I feel sorry for their parents. I wonder if these young men were also using it. Might slow them up on the basketball court, ya think?

So now these young adults will have there lives ruined for selling a Herb God created. Marijuana Prohibition is ridiculous. We need to tax and regulate the plant and educate people about substance abuse. Legalize God's medicine. Tax, Regulate, and Educate. Wake up Oklahoma

Ok, it looked like the cops got a lousy $1,500 bucks! Wow Cops way to go! I bet Police spent $10,000 or more and wasted lots of time for that small time bust. Wonder how many unsolved murders, rapes, burglery, and assault charges are in Chickasha? Don't you think have better things to do than t0 bust Pot smokers and pot dealers? Legalize Marijuana now!

One of the two men arrested is my cousin. I agree that there are way worse things that law officers could be investigating, but this is a crime none the less. I have another cousin in jail for the same thing. Hopefully they both learn from this and use it to help others not make the same mistakes. I tell my students that when one chooses to break the law, don't be mad at the consequences if caught. I pray that my cousin gets mercy as I don't think he deserves to go to prison. Whether or not we agree with the law, it is still the law.

I think that the men made a wrong choice about how to make money. Especially near the college campus. However, I've read some of your comments about what it is that you have witnessed about how marijuana has affected your friends. First and foremost let me say, I think it should be legal. I think that this cash crop could help in getting our country somewhat out of the deficit we're in now. I know plenty of people who are avid "pot smokers" and they are able to function just fine. They even work!! Some of them have really good jobs and can still maintain home, family and extracurricular activities! I think that the drug does affect people in different ways but if you can't handle it...DON'T DO IT! Another thing I want to clarify to "anti marijuana" people, is that it is not a GATEWAY drug!! It's all about your will to either decide to try something new or not. My parents smoked for years and never tried anything else. Both held down really good jobs and hell..even some of their friends they worked with did too. Everyone has their own opinion about it though and I understand that. As for the two college students yes its unfortunate that they did make a wrong choice but at the same time they've helped in providing relaxation for some, pain relief for others, and helping people who had a bad day forget about it.

Dear Big Cousin, I agree with your comment. I don't think people should go to prison because of a marijuana charge. With all the other crime in this county, a marijuana charge with a prison sentence seems absurd. I don't have an answer here as to what the punishment should be. I do have a funny story to tell where marijuana was being used. My late father was a retired U.S. Army official and he lived next door to my straight laced sister and brother-in-law. One evening they got to talking about what it would be like to smoke some so they purchased a bit and the "party" began. They were well into having a good time when a wrecker truck pulled into the driveway across the street to haul off an old junk car. The wrecker's lights were flashing and my dad thought the cop's were coming to get them. He panicked and went crazy, my sister and brother-in-law were on the floor laughing so hard at him they could'nt do anything else. Needless to say, they never tried it again and still laugh about the incident today.

The writings here of you who support drug use are rife with writing, grammar, spelling, typo, etc. errors. Could that be related to drug use? I think there is a correlation.
I have known and now know many alcoholics that lead responsible lives. Could they do more without a dependency? I think so.

Hahaha! That's pretty funny.

That being said, I think it should be legal. But since it is not then we still have to abide by the law. I feel sorry for these boys, because they could possibly face the jail time, lose their scholarships, get kicked out of school, etc. They made a very poor decision just to make a buck. I sure hope they learn something from this and that the repurcussions aren't too bad.

These guys are d-bags. They deserve everything that they get. All you people that feel bad for them are retarded! I hope that since they sold drugs on school property that they get a stiffer penalty.

I also give kudos to the law enforcement agency involved. Thank you for getting these losers out of the school so they can no longer infect the other students.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Pisces

Although you're busy putting the finishing touches to your Christmas preparations, you'll also have to pay attention to someone who's feeling neglected or unloved. Luckily, it won't take much to make this person feel better, so a big hug or a little consideration might do the trick. You should also bear in mind that they may be feeling nostalgic or sad about the past.
