Anyone know of who is running for the next term?

I heard there is a cop from Elk City running. Don't know who. Maybe the ex-chief, Putnum.

So does no one know anything at all about this other than choirboy?

Billy Putman did pass away but that was the Ex Chief's Son not the Ex Chief he lives here in Sayre on 4th street. We see him walking running or Bikeing daily get your facts right.

Your wrong, you are right, it was the ex-chief's son. Bill is alive and well that last I heard which was only a month ago or so. Why don't some of you that is interested throw some names out there of people that may make a good sheriff, not a "yes man" or someone who will play favorites, but a person of high morals and a man of integrity, some one that has the ability to communicate with the people of Beckham County. It is our county and we need to make our desires known.

I heard Gail Wilhite was going to run.

I think you are wrong, Clue. The guy that ran against him last time, Mike Collins, was not liked by the biggest part of Beckham County when he was a deputy. Look how close he came to winning last election. There are a lot of people willing to put up the money for someone to run for sheriff.

I would like to see Brian Scott run against him. Brian is Honest, Hard working, a family man and right for the Job.

Mondo Villegas would also make a good Sheriff.

Make sure you explain who you are talking about, Scott Jay or Brian Scott? Both have "Scott" and what you stated can be interpreted as one of both people. I don't seeing this happening though by either!

I can definitely see Scott Jay doing that, for I have seen him with my own eyes doing just that at the same place.

Yes, he will even talk to your old ugly ass! That's what people in public office do, "Talk to other's", young, old, ugly, dumb, man or woman! They talk about current and past issue's and discus the many views and options of making changes for the best, that's the nature of the job!
