Police Probe School Finances

That's the whole idea-the CB schools are just as flawed as any other, no more and no less. So the middle ground would be to determine, logically and with solid facts, if there is some problem with the school systems finances. If there is, then fix it. As i read the title of this article, the state police must have been concerned enough to launch an investigation. That is a good thing. They are responsible folks and will find out if anything is wrong. We don't need to push the panic button just yet. Let's wait for the results.

Tim Trivett and Anne Condgon told lies to the Governor. We all have a touch of altzheimers, but does anyone remember the e-mail, Trivette put in everyones mailbox a couple of years ago. Anne Condgon and another retired councilMAN were behind the get rid of Dr. Howard, they were upset Bridges had been fired. Excuse me. He just took a pay out, he was not fired. Bridges was a good friend and golf buddy.
I sure hope this investigation goes forward, and the truth will come out.
If we had two qualified Principals, we would not need a superintendent. I think Dr. Howard has 3 more years to go on ther contract. She is one tough cookie and will not crumble.(pun intended)
PS. I know for a fact that she has spent her own money to buy necessary things for some of her students who could not afford it. I was told by a Mother it happen to.

I have had a hard time believing that the former school board members did something wrong. We are not just talking about the ones who lost the election this year. We're also talking about Hall and Wilson. According to the paper they are going from 2003 - 2006. So we are talking about 2 entirely different school boards doing something wrong. That's hard to believe.

As for Dr. howard she bought books from the book fair for everyone in my child's class out of her pocket, not the school.

larry and doubter - sounds like some good info..........i doubt many will listen..........most of the time the truth wins out..........even in this town.........the question is when the one's who have told lies are revealed.......will they say they are sorry.....or will they move on to the next mess to create!

Not so much a question of either this or former school boards doing anything wrong - how about just paying attention. In the past few years was anything that Howard put before the Board voted down or even questioned? And didn't the Wilson woman pull her kids out of the school while on the board or shortly thereafter?

how long will the investigation take? Will we get updates on how it is going? probably not, but it would be nice. And these people do have something to lose-if they lied, and if they caused an investigation that wastese state funds, then hopefully they will at least not get elected again. I think it will have some sort of positive result, we just don't know what yet....

I do believe there is a law against using the law for your own satisfaction. I thinks its a jail term. They will not just go away. We must call our local politicians in Richmond and ask them to keep us informed. Albert Pollard and Richard Stuart. Call them and ask that the probe be made public. Trivette and Condgon may have finally outwitted themselves.

mmm nope. Charles and Tim definately graduated from the beach. and Tim's going off to college in the fall...
