County Battles Mosquito Infestation

I reported this mosquito problem weeks ago. I live only about a quarter of a mile from the "blue lake," where these pesky pests originated,if you go straight through the woods.My house sits right on the highest peak in Hancock County too, so we get all the pollution from WTI and Weirton Steel, and now this annoying problem.
When it started becoming spring, I noticed bugs, nats, mosquitos or whatever else they are called, in the daytime! They swarm and in the evening it is so bad that I do not go out in the yard.This has been and still is a big issue for me and my pets.I have a dog and a cat and both of them have been constantly digging and scratching to fight off these big biters!
Moreover, my 1 year old grandson has been bitten all up and down his legs just going our on the porch to play. We cannot go out without getting bit.
Also,I have never seen any swarms here, ever.This is the worst my husband ever recalls too, and he grew up here.
I think that the spraying has helped, but we have huge, tall pine trees and when they have sprayed, I get all kinds of em in the trees, like they are hiding in those pines.
No picnics in our yard this summer!lol
I just hope that the problem goes away soon.
