I am so happy to hear that there is someone out there speaking for the sexually abused children,because I too was sexually abused as a child but there was no one out there to speak up for me.back in the late 1960s,So as a result I turned to alcohol and drugs,and grew up angry and numb from the pain that I experienced as a child.I am now a recovering addict in the newport news drug court program,54 years old and I am now starting to enjoy a childhood that I never had, I am so grateful for ms.veronica thomas she is a courageous woman I commend her for her dedication.

I am an 19 year old girl who went through sexual abuse for almost 5 years . The abusers were my cousin brother and brother in law. I was abused day and night. i really want to join an organisation who deals which such cases. I would love to volunteer them . Please let me know if there is something i can do for such kids. Pray that no other child should go through such horror. Thanks for raising a voice
