Get that garden worked up for the rains that are hopefully going to be here by the end of the week. Nice day to work outside...may try to get some hedge trimming done that didn't get done last fall...

could I suggest some creative hedge trimming? I am a notorious scalper of hedges etc so the wife will not let me anywhere near the trimmers. It can be a good thing to be incompetent at some things? lol spent most of yesterday digging tree roots and dragging them out of my asparagus beds. covering them with straw today with the help of the grandkids. should be fun

Ahh that is possible my friend. Had to bring the small grand daughters in because of the wind. Too many tree limbs worries me when the wind is up and they are out. so it may be a Barney and cat in the hat day for me. enjoy

I don't hink I could stand Barney, however, abck in the day my daughters liked Cat in the Hat. My personal fav was Green Eggs and Ham.

Green Eggs and Ham kind of reminds me of the C rations we used to get in the field when I was in Vietnam...not much to look at but it was better than going hungry. Personal fav was turkey loaf with a desert of pound cake and peaches...

much better than beans and M____ F___kers if you know what I mean...

I ramble on....anyway, I'm ahead...

Never saw much of the c rats in the gulf but had one month or so stretch where we only had powdered eggs, corned beef, brussel sprouts , and dry cereal with only the waterry stuff you make jello out of to put on it. We had those four 24/7 for a month. I learned how to like brussel sprouts pretty quickly.
