Does anyone have any information about the auto accident that took Shannon?

I am a close friend of shannon and her daughter danielle. and dani told me that Shannon and her husband gary was on the way to her brothers graduation at pitt state and a deer ran out in the road and that swerved trying not to hit the deer and a semi hit them, on shannons side and i think she died instantly!!!?????

accident occured on U400 when a car hit a deer, which caused the car to go into the path of an oncoming semi. 37-year-old Shannon Sylvas of Independence, Kan. died from her injuries.

I went to school with Shannon and her brothers. A former classmate told me the news just today about Shannon. She always had a smile on her face. And she would always talk to me. She will be missed by her classmates and as well as her family and husband and children. I am writing to say that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Shannon is at piece with our Lord Jesus. According to the report Gary either hit the deer or tried to miss it, causing him to head straight on into a semi which the majority of the blow was on Shannons side. She died instantly. Gary was life flighted to Joplin where he had a few surgeries. I heard where he was the other day but I can't remember where. He is alive but is facing more surgeries.

I finally got out of the hospital. It was a terrible ordeal the accident and all. I miss Shannon very much. I am her husband that was in the accident with her. I shouldn't have survived. God miraculously caused this to be. I will see her again soon. This is only a story that only her and I can tell. I miss her very much but it won't be long till its time for me to go home and see her too.

He is alive but is facing more surgeries. i gary am out of surgeries and am recovering and walking alittle. i need a cane. still going thru therapy. i miss my wife unbelievablely bad. A great woman she is and we were so happy together. I thank God for what we experienced together. Thank you Jesus!
