I think someone should note that Mac Sanborn was NOT married at the time of the accident and that he had been living in Overland Park for 4 months prior to the tragic accident that happened. Mac is survived by two sons and an ex wife who now resides in Parsons.

Everyone who knew Mac would say, he was still married and loved his family deeply. He made a mistake, and he asked for forgiveness. For this person, this man is gone and sorrow has followed his untimely death....

Obvioulsy most people did not know Mac that well to post and believe false information. Although I am sure he was forgiven, if you would ask any close friends, he could not stand his "wife" but loved his children dearly. Don't believe everything that is posted on the internet, try asking those that were the closest to him.

Mike Holland and Mac Sanborn were good men who were out there on June 2, 2005 supporting their families, they did not deserve the fate they were handed, nor do they deserve to have people disrespect their legacies OR their families with this senseless chatter. This site was meant to be a information source to lead to a capture and conviction of the person or persons involved in the sabatoge case of June 2, 2005. I wanted to reply to Ms. Unknown in Overland Park, KS. Mac and Mike's family deserve respect and their feeling of loss. Let them rest in peace and may the rest of us find the people who did this horrible injustice. I knew Mac well enough to call him my brother-in-law, for I am the "wife" sister.

Marsh, Clint, Angela, and Christy you all are right on the money. The childish comments written by the unknown (yeah wonder who it is) brings me back to when I was in junior high. Whether the comments come from a website, anonymous letter to the family, you opening your mouth in public, is just down right disrespectful to everyone who cares. Come on unknown grow up or just shut up you would probably get a little more respect that way. But I guess it is too late for that because I have a filling you will probably never get it.
As Christy said this site is for information on the explosion. So unknown, if you don’t have any useful information why don’t you just stay clear of this site, it would probably do us all a really big favor!

It absolutely disgusts me to open a website that I believe will have new information regarding the tragedy that killed our friend Mac and his co-worker Mike, only to find comments that I would be ashamed to think, let alone write. Although your identity remains a “secret”, the fact that you are sick has not. Move on, and let the rest of us look at this website everyday with hope that whoever committed this crime will be found and justice will be served. You should be spending your time asking for forgiveness.

I just wanted to let Mike and Mac's families know that my family has been thinking about you guys. We hope that you guys find the person responsible for this tragedy. I knew Mike when we were in school. He was a great guy! Please know we are praying for your families.

Just an FYI for everyone. The Wilson County Citizen newspaper stated that investigators are looking into the recent oil tank explosion and fire in Woodson County being linked to the explosion on McPherson's well site that killed Mac and Mike. Once again I hope they catch the son-of-a-b----!

I just wanted to let you guys know that the investigators have told me that there is ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION between the Yates Center explosion and the explosion that killed our guys. Nobody is sure where the Wilson County Citizen got their info, but it was not correct. To my knowledge, the YC fire has been ruled without a doubt, accidental.

As always, thanks to all of you for your concern and posts! As I know new things that can be repeated, I will try to post on here to keep everyone informed.
