Ozark Tree Service

The destructino to my trees was so bad due to the ice storm we had to take them down. We called Ozark Tree Service and paid him to cut down the trees,clean up all the brush,wood and take out the stumps. We paid him before the job was complete. We had to go out of town and Ozark side he would be back the next day. After 5 mo and around 20 calls the stumps and wood is still here.How could i have been so stupid!! Never pay before the job is done!!!!!

I have a home in cherokee and used him around 1 year ago. I dont recommend him.. BAD WORK!!!!

i worked for him and he didnt have insurance if we got hurt. he would tell us if we get hurt its on us. he only care about beer and $$$$

I never used him but i have a friend that did. She said he wont keep his promise. I know she will never use him again and i know others that feel the same.

Next time you should use Talley or Goodson. They are both good and will stand by their work. Talley would be my first choice but Goodson is good to.

you hear the same story over and over again. if not about ozark, it"s about somebody else getting screwed by some other so called honest service company. wth, how do these people who go around ripping people off, continue to get work around here? i hope someday soon, they to will fall by the wayside.....

The only tree service i would use is John Talley. He done tree service for long time before he moved to FL but he moved back and is doing tree service again here in cherokee.

I would go with John Talley also. He knows alot about trees and is very honest. Sometimes it may take along time for him to get to you cause he has a long list. If your looking for a cheap price then go with Ozark but you will get a cheap job.

I have an explanation why people are not happy with Ozarks work. Talley done tree work for a long time and everyone around here used him. Talley moved away and this Ozark guy came in. The fact is no one can measure up to Talley and people are used to better work than what some tree services are doing. Ozark may not be as bad as people think.

Me niether,no one on here goes by there name,or rarely?
If there is that many compliants agaist ozark why does he continue to thrive,good work possibly?
Plus i see he has same guys working for him all the time,heard talley cant keey guys?

talley never moved away,he sold his bussines to david,who changed the name,then talley wanted to make abuck after the ice storm. both guys do good work justa matter of principle!

talley or cherokee murphy are the best

Iwas told when Talley sold to Ozark he sign an agreement that he wouldnt come back for 1 year. Well i know its been 2 or 3 years. Talley was the best around and Rebel was good to. I do know of 2 people that used Ozark and didnt like him.

I called Ozark to look at my trees. I asked him if he had Insurance and he said he had the best around. I called the city to check him out and they told me he didnt have Insurance on his men if they got hurt. I asked the city who to use. they wouldnt tell me who to use but when i asked them about Talley they said he was a good one and had very good Insurance. I had Talley do the job and i would recommend Talley to anyone.

I worked for Ozark after the ice storm and Ozark was the one that couldnt keep help and it was due to Davids attitude. He stays drunk and screams at us. I have worked for some jerks but David was the worst. I dont know about Talley but i do know David said he was going to hurt him and run him out of town. Dont know why cause people talks good about him.

my mom used ozark and he never got the job done. she paid him and he never came back.

But as long as you people wish to run me down please post your real names or call me about your complaints.

I have never taken money upfront for a job!
And if you want proof of ins,it is provided upon request.
As far as Talley goes the non compete agrement was for 5 years.
It is easy to hide behind these names that are posted!

I worked for Talley while I was home from the river boats. All of us guys were told that under no circumstance were we to mess with anyone elses signs or run our mouth about other tree services. If it got back to Mr. Talley then we had done anything like this then we lost our jobs. He doesn't play that game at all. Mr. Talley is one of the easiest persons I have ever worked for. We worked long hours and he is extremely picky about his/our work but this is why he has a good name. Mr. Talley has very high standards and expects his employees to have high standards. If you do good work and don't run your mouth about the competition then Mr. Talley keeps you around. He doesn't go through the employees as it has been made out that he does but the ones he let go are gone for a reason. He is a pretty fun guy to work with and at the end of the day if he turned a good profit then we all recieved bonuses.

I actually saw the signed non compete document(s) in Mr. Talley's truck because he had been to the lawyers office that day to give him a copy of it. It very clearly states 2 years and it was signed by both Mr. Talley and the owner of Ozark Tree Service.
