Man shot in Lowell apartment

That's terrible for those kids. Oh' don't you just love how the news paper states that the children were not physically harmed? That may be so, but they were emotionally harmed. It's just all wrong, what has happened to people? I honestly think there's something in the drinking water that has made people gone mad. It seems that every other day there's a shooting or stabbing in Lowell and neighboring towns.

We want to revitalize and make the city a better place, with this canal project. Why? Who will want to come and invest in this city if we keep going on like this. If I was from out of town and considering Lowell, I think I would have second thoughts. Seeing as if you pick up the paper in the last few weeks, the reporting isn't pretty. We better clean up our mess first before we worry about putting a big bow on it. Any suggestions?

This address is just across the street from Lowell's (FINEST) Police station;
? didn't (LPD) they hear anything? The sad part of this is, that this occurance
is almost on their front door step!! Time to get on the ball people, Also where are those bike patrols???

That building has been infested with drug dealers and squatters for years.

Until it sells or the management company is held responsible for screening tenants this is going to continue. It's the last building on the block that has not been renovated and is responsible for 100% of the crime.

brothers that got kill in front of their home 4 years ago on lincoln street and not even 5 months ago his mom pass away it like his family need him in heaven

Do the people realize Lowell is a CITY not a town?? City's end up with a lot of undesirable folks because we have the access to all the request things like a shelter, methadone clinics, multi family buildings, mass transit (yes, bad folks take the bus too). Not too many bad guys in the burgs,'cause it's hard to get around

Anyone with information on the incident;

yeah, I have information! it's a drug deal gone bad. get the kids out of there or they will never have a chance.

Go back to school and get an education. Get away from the drugs and the dealers. That's the only way you can break this cycle and stop seeing all these people die around you. If he didn't learn from his brothers death, maybe you can learn from both of them.

This is the 3rd call I've had make to a family friend to tell him that someone in his family has pasted. For the moment I ask that everyone keep their nasty comments to themselves till there's a legit story. All I know is that a huge tragedy happened between lastnight and morning... LIVES HAVE BEEN CHANGED, a life was lost, someone lost their other half, kids were left without a father, many lost a best/childhood friend. My condolences to the family. May TOPI Rest in Peace :(...

Rest in Peace Kid... It's hard for everyone to realize and understand that your time hear on earth is done. Take care of your mom and brothers and try to worry about those you've left behind they will manage. Time heals wounds. You will be GREATLY MISSED!!!

I don't think sighn of the times was trying to be rude. I think he was just trying to give some advice. It sounded like good advice too. Sorry for your loss.

I wasn't trying to be rude or mean. I was trying to get the young people who know him not to let him (or apparently his brothers) death be in vain. Learn from it. You can see the results of certain activities. Don't follow the same path - make a new one. Change your actions and those you hang with and be an example for his kids to follow. Friends who want you to be involved in dangerous activities aren't your friends.

its sad that his 2 younger brothers died in a drive by on lincoln st.a couple of yrs ago,his Birthmother dies a couple of months... e now he gets Killed by Plp who have no better than o ruin other Plps Live's.....The Police need to reinforce their work to tk these scums out the streets......
