You didn't lose because you got lumped in with Kazanjian, you lost because you voted to forgo the primary and because you voted with the others in stonewalling any investigations into misconduct.

This sends a loud and clear message to the voters.

Too bad, I like you...but I didn't vote for you.

Well stated! Quite frankly i didn't vote for Rita, Caulfield, or Elliot either and for the same exact reasons. If you associate yourself with and protect the corrupt, then you get what you deserve. I was surprised to see Elliot, Caulfied and Rita get re-elected for these very same reasons. They coattailed Kazanjian from the very beginning to the very end thinking his popularity will carry them regardless of what happened.

The voters stood up yesterday and proclaimed that it will NOT be tolerated. Somehow these 3 didn't follow suit of the 2 others, but hopefully they learned a valuable lesson and that is, the residents and voters of this city are watching and hopefully they change their ways quickly.

My only hope going forward, is that no one forgets the 3 hack state reps who backed Kazanjian (and also backed Dimasi) and to vote their a**es out in the next election.

Enough is enough with these rogue politicians...they can sweettalk their way out of this all they want going forward, but the fact is they have backed two corrupt politicians (one facing Federal charges and another about to).

They lost because they forgot how they got the seats in the first place. The people, they got in those seats and thought they were above the law and did not have to follow the same rules as the rest of us had to. It was time for a change, others should have been booted also

Yes you backed big Alan K. but you also helped oust the Asst.city manager when he started looking into corruption in the city.Big K,Brodric,St.Hilliar etc.
Too bad as he was really going to CLEAN these bums out.
Now we can start to clean up the corrupt HANG on's in city hall who look the other way for their buddys.
Big K.got away with a lot from them looking the other way.
At least Rita Mercier and Caufield do their job well know matter what hour you call her or him with a problem.

Its called good ole fashion
"Guilt by Association" Armand.
And the good people of Lowell are not going to take it anymore.
its time to step down, and let the next generation take over.
the old school ways of
"What can you do for me" is over now.
Let the new downtown Lowell crowd clean up this mess, and help
make this city a strong, clean, crime free vibrant community again.

Armand (now) sounds a LOT of "sour-grapes" to me.

"Clean-sweep" would have been nice, but let's be happy for these results!!,...and a wake-up-call to the 'others' to look back over their shoulder(s). Hmmm,...feels nice!

'Go-along-to-get-slong' is NOW ENDED!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Capricorn

Take things slowly and all will be well. However, you must resist a tendency to be perfectionist over things that don't really matter, otherwise you'll never finish the chores. If you're busy with Christmas preparations, you'll have to control a nagging feeling that you've got to compete with the way other people have done things in the past.
