Don't let him back in the tent. He stole $800,000 from people who trusted him. They did not get their money back. He should not get his lawyering privileges back.

hey camelnose i am of the understanding that in the state of massachusetts the mass bar has a fund set up so that noone loses any moneys that their lawyer may have misappropriated. all individuals are made whole from this fund which the lawyers must contribute to each year. i believe a boston attorney morris goldings had clients whose losses exceeded 16.5 million and they were all made whole by this special fund also. i am not saying this makes it ok im just correcting you when you say individuals who have lost money due to lawyer misappropriations are not made whole with the above mentioned fund. this fund is meant to pay back every dollar missing from their accounts in these instances. |

how come "advisee" mike is not here (like he was last weekend) to defend his "advisor" joe the jailbird!!!

Clients made whole, if you're right, that's a good thing. Too bad none of those people in East Chelmsford who had to sell their homes cheap because of Joe's rezoning effort were made whole.
I have seen this guy in action. I hope no one ever has to see it again. |

you dont have to wonder where mike is. he's watching all of this very closely. his involvement is limited to the 9 north road project. sitting on the sidelines on this one, just waiting for the SJC ruling. |

Again, anyone can oppose a project that is put in front of the Planning board. You don't need to be a licensed attorney! Mr. Shanahan stated he was not acting as an attorney prior to his planning board presentation. Mr. Shanahan had first hand knowledge regarding the 70's Preservation Restriction that is currently in place, which would prohibit the Epsilon building from being built. I'm not on either side of this matter but to me it looks like the Elilopolous's did not do their homework on this one.

Hi Nobby-{where is}...I see you changed your name...Hey, my happy meal didn't have a toy in it. Trying to pull another one over on a fellow Chelmsford resident?...Oh what a tangled web we weave..........

Shanahan did the time for his crimes. As far as I know he didnt whine or kevetch.
Now all you liiliputians honk and howl with indignation against him. He may well exhibit a superior manner to those who just don't appeciate his intelligence. Grow up and quit your bitching. He is just a better man. |

Better than the average thief? A Brobdingnagian ego calling others 'liiliputians' while demonstrating profound ignorance of Jonathan Swift. Priceless.
