This is another case, I think, of racing on the connector. These kids have no respect for the safety of others until it's too late. How can she plead not guilty? She hit and killed someone, speeding while drinking underage. She should do just as much jail time as those other two clowns that killed that woman and unborn child a few years ago.

I cannot belive she was let go on bail for what she did. People have done lets n they don't get no bail. She should be looked up in jail like all the our drunk drives.

it said she braked and a car can not stop at the blink of an eye. it takes time for a car to react and completely stop mr. issac newton had proven that. its obvious she had no intentions of harming anyone. this is clearly an accident that could've happened to anyone. it's also very possible the mysterious red car might've not known they ran the woman over and thought its just a bump on the road because they were too distracted by the damaged cars on the side, we are human and we do get amused that we lose focus to things even for a split second.
even if the mysterious car knew they ran someone over, they know that they're in big trouble so its obvious they won't turn themself in which is so unfortunate!!!

condolences goes out to the families..be strong!

She didn't mean it? She is under age and drunk, driving a car. Too bad if she didn't mean it, she caused the death of an innocent person, she belongs in jail.

Are you people defending her, all right? She was driving under the influence. It's against the law. I'm sure if it were your family member, you woulndn't be so quick to dismiss this fact.

Exactly! She didn't mean any of it. But once you get in a car drunk, then its intentional.

think about the consquences before you do things you know if you get into that car and you had a few drinks obviously there's a possiblity that you might get pull over, maybe hurt yourself or someone else. God seriously I feel no pity for her. You know you had a few drinks, you know you're under age seriously you should know to be more careful drive slower or don't drive at all til your more sober or again call a cab or someone else that can pick you up. She probably won't get in troubl she had a little drunk if she call someone to pick her up and if she know she gonna get in trouble by parents n stuff well there you go don't drink cause you're under age and isn't suppose to. She want to have fun and probably live her life to the fullest well I hope she live her life to the fullest in jail cause that's where she belongs. IF she isn't locked up hopefully she don't drink and drive again but again they gonna take her license away so hopefully her stupid friends that she might go to these parties with don't drink and drive cause it might happen again.

People only say this because she's an attractive girl...If she was unattractive people would want the book thrown at her.

Who cares. The people should not have been standing in the middle of a ramp to the lowell connector. I hope they do a toxicology test on the people that where hit. Chances are they were speeding and crashed into the bridge, not because of a slick road. u have to be drunk to be standing unaware not accepting help and trying to do something with the car. oh ya, the red car story is funny, what a way to blame it on some one else.

i don't feel soo bad about this story because either way it is either a drunk vs drunk violence, or a drunk vs stupidity violence.

80 miles an Hour equals 117 feet per second. in three seconds time, that two seconds too late.
Speed Kills. here is a formula

age
---= drive slow

I agree with you JIMMIDY. Both parties were at fault. It's just a god damned car that can be replaced. Why would you ignore people and try to fix two bent wheels with one spare tire? Just leave it there if you can't move and get to a safe spot AWAY from the traveling lanes. They had to be drunk, IMHO.

Drunk vs drunk mixed with a little stupidity is correct.

RIP to the victim and good luck to the driver of the Toyota. She had no priors and should be out in a few years. It was fate, final destiny you could say, which could've been avoided.

Agreed, it's not like she meant to hurt anyone that night. I think people should get lenient sentences or probation when they hurt or kill others, as long as they can prove they didn't mean it!

Serious? She is 19, drinking beers, and going 80mph in a 30 mph zone. She is clearly at fault and should pay a big price.
