Rock slide closes Highway 64 in East Tennessee

Awesome capture of a rock slide. I drive I-40 from NC thru TN and see the aftermath of many slides but thank goodness I have never been that close to the real thing.

The video of the rock slide was actually on national television this morning on the Today Show. To see the actual 2nd slide on film was amazing. And to think that TDOT wants to run a 4 lane (corridor k) anywhere in this area is nuts.
Major express ways shouldn't go through this kind of terrain made of this kind of rock formation, and
to think one of the proposals was a tunnel through the rock face just north of the Ocoee river. Thank
goodness no one was hurt!
