Review: Cabo Auto Sales

The team at Cabo Auto Sales is the most helpful car-expert team I know. I bought a car not too long ago, a BMW X5, and I cannot stop raving about it. They have have great prices, they have good follow-up, and they never stopped answering my questions and helping me...even long after I purchased the car. Thank you so much Cabo Auto.
And, I did not have any of the problems mentioned in the other reviews about this car dealership. They did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable, and they are highly professional.

You have to be on crack to go near this Auto stealer.... Er.... I mean Dealer. No I really mean stealer. And i have the scars to prove it. I do not care if some one tells you that say Mother Theresa is the manager at Cabo. Its all smoke and mirrors that leads to a river of abused customers tears. Cabo Auto sales Zilbert David, Davids dog, bla bla bla DO NOT GO THERE!!! All of the charades will leave you with the night mares. Post traumatic syndrome could be so bad from your experience at Cabo that You may never even step onto a car lot again for fear of going postal. Zilbert??? is either a front man for another scam or he unfortunately is so stupid he does not realize he is working for a company with no honor or credibility and no cars that are not tainted junk..

Cabo Auto Center is a place where people are led in by adds misrepresenting prices and mileage and other exaggerated specifics on cars. This makes the prospect that your buying a gem at a heavily reduced price attractive. Once there the sales staff will lie and con subtly but persistently. "You hear so many promises and good faith gestures your head will spin"....I quote from a customer who will have his day in Superior court October 21, 2009. He is suing Cabo for fraud and unethical bussiness practice and misrepresentation..
BEWARE!! You will feel confident in the convincing demeanor of the sales crew led by David, until you realize you have been caught in a tangled web of deception. If Cabo has their way it will be after you hand over the cash for a smoke and mirrors transaction. The cars most always have been in accidents (contrary to their assuraces)
Changing your terms and over charging you and then claiming to sell your contract to another lender is a big ploy. Or Spot financing. Promising you financing through another company .Letting you dive off with your down payment supposedly going to a reputable finance company. Drawing up a contract "just to cover some short term bases" You wil hear staements like "Just come back tomorrow and it will all be ironed out". "take the car we have you financed with Top or Fireside or a credit union..." The whole time stringing you along.They will hold you to an in house contract, Will not refund your money. Jerk you along. Then illegally reposess your car. Cabo Auto Center reposes the car and keep them they re sell some of them many times using the same scam. The list goes on.
I have documentation of many customers criminal and civil complaints, This company has no moral compass what so ever. Drawing out your transaction promising financing when you find out this was never true. You will get your car repossessed, With out the chance to recover it. repossessing cars and reselling them up to three or four times is big money for Cabo.. All illegal.
It is really unfortunate that greed can screw people up so bad that they would stain their children's good name for a buck. Straight in adulterated scam artist and that is a merciful depiction of Cabo Auto Center.. Should be called "Sociopath Auto Sales" because I really feel like they take the criminal mindset and apply it to car sales if you can even call it Sales. Many have been duped. I have spoken with or personally read complaints numbering in the Dozens. You can Go to 'Ripp off Report' or 'Merchant Circle' and read. I hope you have at least a half hour. There going to reap what they have sown for sure. The wind is coming and justice with it David,

I recently purchased a Mercedes ML500. This company is the WORST, they are ROACHES! They will make you pay an extra $1,000 to finance which is the dealers bill not yours!! They will then up the price of your car and make you finance more than needed! THEY ARE SCAMMERS DO NOT USE THEM!

I feel so humiliated. i should of did some research. David at Cabo Auto Center in Canoga Park is out for one thing. To ripp people off! Ouch my pocketbook hurts. But not nearly as much as my heart. I saved for the car of my dreams. And I was sold a broken dream. These peices of fecal matter really know how to jack people around. What comes around goes around. Cabo Auto Center in Canoga Park has the worst criminal behavior. Lie after lie after lie after Broken promises. How can these guys still be on the street. They belong in prison.I feel like a complete victim of a crime. I am suing you creeps for 16 thousand dollars plus punitive damages. Bedouin thieves.

You liar I will pay one thousand dollars to any satisfied customer at Cabo. Of course you must in turn pay 1(one) dollar for every dissatisfied customer that has gone to Cabo. In the end I will have hundreds of dollars. And if you ask me to pay you you will be disqualified for lying out you butt.

These guys are FRAUDS. They should be put in JAIL. Hope someone succeeds in doing that.

When I went to see the car, they kept on pushing another car which i was not interested in. Finally when we decided on a price on the car I wanted, they claimed their advertisement did not exist. Suddenly another buyer just materialized. 20 mins later they told me the car was sold. This was an obvious lie, as they relisted the car at a higher price the next day.

I just received an email from a gentleman who was leading witness in a case that took over a year to build against Cabo. He says that he is retracting his statements and forgiving Cabo Auto Center their liability. WTF? There are other people besides you JERK. I also understand two other have backed out for know pending a (GOOD FAITH )settlement between both parties. Thanx Mark you Traitor!

Mr Finkle has been made aware of his options regarding settling this matter. I have headed up a group of people with complaints(mostly small mechanical) that take a little time to resolve. I am on disability and my van had to be retired and I dont have much money at all, care for 4 handicaps family members, and I need a vehicle badly, desperately and dont need to be burned.

I may have been a little harsh in judging Cabo Auto Center, I talked to a guy who I have been in touch with regarding Cabo. He and a few others had a case ready to explode on them. I am familliar with these complaints I spoke with the State Attorney on Friday and apparently there has been a genuine change of heart with one of the plaintiffs (Mark), I read his complaint and I read the State Attorneys letter to Him and this Mark guy has convinced me that we should allow Cabo to resolve issues and not post anymore negative advertising. He has given me His word that He believes this is all just bad timing and resolvable issues. I do not know why he did not slam them. But,I like his judgment and think he has a good instinct. I think I will give the folks at Cabo the benefit of the doubt. One point Mark made is that used vehicles often have issues and anyone gets defensive when they are threatened. I will put my grievance in writing and forward it to Cabo and give them a chance. They did seem very friendly and I was amazed when I had difficulty with them. Also Mark said they fired the guy who was causing the problems and have new management. It is perhaps poor communication that got the ball rolling the wrong way. I will wait to see what happens with a couple of issues David claims to be solving this Monday. EVERYONE DESERVES THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. I have to admit they have the best prices and I did get financed when no one would take me. We wil see. I will wait to hear from these so called resolved issue folks.
