shape of town

Charlestown use to be a good place to live when i lived there people could leave doors unlocked at night you didnt have to worry about your kids being out at night sure there was a few problem like someone getting drunk or a old fasion car race but nothing real bad it was basicly a good place to grow up now from what i read and here ther is a lot of drugs and b@E going on and just plain evil things going on i have know the mayor now and past mayors for a long time and from what i see and here it sounds like mayor hall and the police force need to try a little harder to rid the town of low lifes and to get back that small town atmusfer back

to I Agree i graduated in 1976 a little before your time i hear they have tore down most of the old school i havent been up there for 20 years or so i thought about coming but after hearing about everthing thats going on i have rethought things it would just make me sick and i would just like to remember it the way it was

They should tear down the projects.. There are still some decent people that live there, but it has been over run with crackheads and drug dealers. You might still see one nice house after about twenty bad ones. The people that have tried to maintain a home there should be bought out and moved and the rest should be thrown out! I grew up there and we never had to worry about anything, now I dont allow my kids to go there It disgust me how much Charlestown has changed! Yes something should be done and soon..
