Bluefield named in police brutality suit

my son who is a minor was taken in and questioned and also photographed about a robbery at joy mart on the avenue. I was never notified and my son even ask for them to call me then they made him walk home with his girlfriend from the police department. I was wrried to death all night about him he begged me not to prsue it because he would be harrass which is true. he was constantly harrassed by officer davis because he just didn't like his looks.

bluefield police are nothing more than criminals with badges! the bluefield pd has always been corrupt and probably always will be. but i wouldnt tolerate any more harrassment from any of their officers they can also be very dangerous so i would consider taking some kind of action if the harassment doesnt stop!

I don't know if you're aware of this, but this Officer can sue you for libel, which is defamation by written or printed words, pictures, or in any form other than by spoken words or gestures.

I seriously doubt your son is being harassed because the officer "didn't like his looks". Most likely, he's up to no good and causing trouble. If he's a minor, what is he doing out so late at night?

well some "pig" lover erased my post so again i express my condolences to the person whos son was shot by the dirty,corrupt cops! and hey "bluefield citizen" i welcome that pig to come after me for defamation! I have to agree with you symbolic at least some sees things as I do. Most not all but mostof the officers in BPD are on power trips. I think they are afraid of the real criminals. For your info blfd citizen my son was going to the store to get some milk for the baby if its any of your business and I can take a lawsuit on them myself if I desire for taking my son and not notifing me. I am a US citizen and so I have a right to freedom of speech so back off. I am not a criminal, do not drink or use drugs, and do not cause trouble. Don't go to the Chief of Police. Go to the next city hall meting, and address the "Mayor", and city council members. If nothing works then. Call the Attorneys' General Office. You can go from their.

I have seen it done here in Charleston. That scare's them. Seen a few gone off the force, that never made the papers. Just said they moved on etc... if it did make the papers.
