Maybe you should think twice about threatening someone in the future. It was wrong for someone to cuss you out, but it was also wrong of you to make a threat. I think you were lucky not to be fired.

Did you know that John McBrayer got a 10% raise last year and makes over 80K now. RJ got a raise too. Nobody else has gotten raises unless they got a title promotion. The District Manager is the the problem here. You got suspended cause you threatened someone and he went to Margie and said he was afraid cause you threatened him. They enforce the rules on people they don't like and ignore them for the people that they do like. Document everything as much as possible and call Dreama Smith in Jeff Black's office. Google "disparent treatment"

Well i didn't threaten John, i just told him that him Johnny Walker and RJ are not worth what they make, and the workers should have got the raise first... and that pissed him off,,, i just tell it like i see it, tired of getting shit on bye the d.o.h. I was cussed at work more the one time by the same guy,, and just got tired of it.. but now i'm taking it as far as i can,,,, and i have a book i keep everything wrote down that people has done in the state thats going to get alot of shit started in district 1... lots of people...

Making threats is a far bigger offense than cussing someone. Your supposed to act like an adult, not a school yard bully. One person acting childish does not not justify you acting more childish. If this job is so crappy, why have you been there for 12 years instead of moving on to a more deserving employer? You come across like you have a very bad attitude and i'm betting this isn't the first time you've had problems with a coworker! A lot of people out there would love to have you're lousy job, paid holidays & benefits, so don't think you're so valuable that they can't replace you. And by the way, if you can't keep your job with the state, you don't have a snowballs chance in h#ll in a regular construction job.

And by the way...call the Labor BOARD. They will tell you an employer can hire and fire at will. They don't have to be nice and they don't have to be fair. Period.

Id say your a porch artist,, set at home and draw a check!!! i have worked in the coal buisness for yrs,, and been with the state for a retirement,, id say you live off everyone else,, and i have never had a bad word with anyone i have worked with in 22yrs,, this guy does everone like this, and has been there 1 yr... so just set back and get your free money,, that us tax payers give you,,

I kniow who you are and I think you know me...take your time off like a man and get over it. Its a done deal. Its up to you if you want to work here or not. But if you dont wake up and use your head, Im sure you wont be here very long. What I or anyone else makes as far as pay goes is not your business. And one thing you may want to think about,if you havent noticed, jobs are hard to come by anymore.
