Benjamin declines to withdraw from $240m Massey case

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Supreme Court Justice Brent Benjamin on Thursday rejected the latest bid seeking his recusal from a case involving Richmond, Va.-based Massey Energy Co.

It is strange that even in this day and age, corruption is so widespread and prevalent. Massey is the worst of the offenders in WV- and they just buy their way out of any mess they are involved in.

Dishonest Judge Benjamin is a crook. He is also a prostitute for Massey Coal. Massey paid $3.5 million for him to sell himself for 12 years. He is a crook and so is Maynard.
The only Judge I had any respect for was Starcher and he's leaving.
The people of WV or anyone else will not get a fair trial from this bunch. It is a dark day for WV on May 13th vote all the crooks out and next election get the rest. Manchin is at home with this bunch of crooks.

If Judge Benjamamin or Judge Maynard think they have been unjustly accused have them judge their own actions.By taking large amounts of money from someone then when it comes time to try a case you should step aside and you don't it makes you look like a crook.Judge Maynard did step aside.But then again when you show up in the papers in Marrcco with the CEO of Massey Coal it makes you look like a crook whether you are or not. When your voting record is looked at and you oppose the people who voted you in. You vote your own agena and not the law to me that is what a crook is.
