I can assure you he is alive and working in our lives if we will only allow him to. I have witnessed miracles

I don't buy into anyone's stupid politics. Arguing with Christians is like arguing with a child.

Any person that thinks the bible is just "stories" or that God is a fabrication should take note. Archaeologists all over the world use the bible for reference. If you travel to Israel you can see first hand that the old testament is factual. These "stories" are actually history in writing. To say otherwise is foolish.

People like you make me want to drink myself to death. What archaeologists uncover are artifacts from the biblical era, which would be written about by man, like all other history books. But what these artifacts do not prove, is the existence of a divine creator. Do the statues and artifacts from Ancient Greece mean the Gods on Olympus were real? I can see that this is just going to turn into a back-and-forth of who's right. In reality, it doesn't matter since it's FICTION anyway.

Well as for me and my house we will serve the lord. I mean what have I got to lose anyway?

Religion resembles a buffet. You can choose whatever you want to believe in and theres a church to support it. The bible does not mention gay marriage, where do these morons get their information? They make it up. Guess what Jesus said about homosexuality? Nothing!!! It's never mentioned in the new testament. And another thing, what do we know about Jesus? The first 12 years of his life as a child and the last three years as an adult. He disappears from the bible after age 12 and reappears at 30 and is crucified at 33. Where was he when the hormones were raging within him? Did he marry? Did he have children? Was he gay? Is that why he never mentioned anything about it? The argument about homosexuality is in the old testament. You know, the same book that says women who cheat or dress as men should be stoned to death. The 10 commandments mentions sins such as lying, cheating, stealing, worshipping other gods, nothing about homosexuality. If homosexuality was such a big deal to your god, why didn't he include it in his 10 commandments?

Have you ever read the Bible, Hag? It's says: 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (NIV).

The bible is a 2,000 year old piece of literature created by men, who thought the Earth was only a few centuries old. It belongs on a list of banned books so people won't get any more crazy ideas. I mean, seriously? God supposedly made all of this crazy, off-the-wall stuff happen to prove his existence, then disappears for 2,000 years? Give me a break.
II Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Your thinking is rather superficial. ;)
Your rather gullible yourself, following mans simple mind rather than using prayer and asking God to open your heart and mind to his word.

Read it many times. 1 Corinthians does not mention anything about homosexual marriage. It does mention homosexual offenders, what does that mean ? Certainly open to interpretation. Is that homosexuals who have offended someone? And men having sex with men is old greek translated into hebrew. Like i said Jesus himself mentions nothing of this nor is it in the commandments. However other mentions in 1 corinthians 6:9-10 are. Glad i could help. ps also says male prostitutes cannot inherit the kingdom, what about female prostitutes? Hmmmmm.

Romans 1:26-32, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

1 Timothy 1:9-10, "Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;"

2 Peter 2:6, "And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;"

Jude 7, "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."

Homosexual advocates will contend that homosexuality is natural, and some will point to homosexual activity within some animal species as evidence. However, it’s not hard to figure out that homosexuality is decidedly unnatural. God made men and women different, both emotionally and physically. Physically, we were created to fit together anatomically much like our pendant. Our parts just match up! Remember the child’s game of matching the round peg into the round hole, the square peg into the square hole, etc.? The homosexual is trying to force two pegs together, in blatant disregard for God’s natural design! The argument above also falls flat on its face when you consider that some animal species also eat their young. I don’t think we can extrapolate that into an acceptable practice for human beings. These same homosexual advocates will claim that homosexuality is genetic. NOT TRUE! Nobody is ‘born homosexual.’ In 1993, Dean Hamer of the National Cancer Institute claimed to have found a genetic link to homosexuality. Yet in 1999, the results of an intensive study by the University of Western Ontario found that Hamer was in error. The fact is that after all the attempts to show a genetic cause for homosexuality, no such genetic cause has been found. A British psychologist has had enormous success in providing “reorientation” therapy to homosexuals who want to change. This is not a surgery or a medical treatment, but it is effective. How could it be effective if the cause of homosexuality is physical? Well, it couldn’t be. Homosexuality is a choice, not a genetic predisposition.

I typed out a well-articulated piece I was about to post when I realized how it didn't even matter. Whatever helps your giant, peanut-buttery head go to sleep at night, Bev Grey.
