This writer finds himself dispirited due to the abject vulgarity of the majority of posts in the Charleston forum. Those ignoble charlatans of composition who choose to post per repugnant, prosaic pandemonium revelations of the sordid, scandalous singularities which comprise their loathsome little lives, circumscribing, as well, those of their contemporaries, manifest the squalid, depraved situations in which those very abominable nobodies pass their wretched hours.

Of more virtuous excellence, this writer divines, should the forum in question be one of enlightenment for those who desire community betterment.

Where have you secreted yourselves, oh noblemen and ladies of the realm? Come forth! Let us master the miserable meanderings of the ill-mannered masses.

I cannot tell: the world is grown so bad,
That wrens make prey where eagles dare not perch:
Since every Jack became a gentleman
There's many a gentle person made a Jack.

2 Timothy 3

1 But know this: difficult times will come in the last days. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to the form of religion but denying its power. Avoid these people!

THE TIME IS HERE!

In light of the specious responses thus far begotten as a result of his initial posting in this thread this writer hereby requests the service of the royal Glossator to ameliorate the perception of those who have heretofore afforded their misguided participation.

In light of the absence of a response by the royal Glossator this writer, having apportioned sufficient time in anticipation of Her Ladyship's testimony; now devoid of said testimony, it shall be presupposed that My Lady is on hiatus tending to events far removed from the realm, ergo this writer will herein explicate the contents of his two previous posts for the edification of those noble men and ladies who covet a correct comprehension. The savant shall affix attention to the remainder of this post.

In post #1 of this thread this writer lamented the vulgar mannerisms of the majority of the denizens posting their ill-conceived meanderings in the Charleston forum. He then advised those same denizens to consider the more meritorious virtue of using that forum to espouse the betterment of the community rather than to demean individual member of the community. Lastly, he called upon the noble men and women of the realm to master those who cannot master themselves in order to push their ignorance into the darkness, to shine a beacon upon them, to expose the amorality of their paradigm, and to, perhaps, change them for the better.

In post #7 of this thread this writer lamented the misunderstanding of those posters who had posted such things as Shakespearean and Biblical quotations, and he requested the service of the royal Glossator to interpret the meaning of post #1 above. While this writer certainly appreciates the scholarly level of participation, and acknowledges the subtle humor exhibited therein, such musings do not contribute substantially to the task at hand, as defined in post #1 above.

Thus, suppose this thread to be a call to arms, or to pens, so to speak, for those who would value an orderly, moral, decent community forum instead of the disgustingly embarrassing gossip column of a few infantile, ignorant apostates to which it has deteriorated.

This be a difficult task.

To what other light do you wish us to go? For, through this darkness, I only see the One Light: Him who sits on The Throne and the Lamb that was Slain at His right hand?

Howdy folks, "Big" Richard here... But you can call me Dick. What I believe this here man is trying to say with his fancy vocabulary, is this yall:

There are some folks that ain't got no good english round here. Either the schools are lacking, or these here folks been educated on the streets. While most folks who read through these here posts prolly can't do what we like to call "comprehend" proper english... So I will come forward and do whaat most folks call "interpret".

The man says, if you can write good, then get on here and say some positive things about the city and its folks. All this name calling and slandering of the down and outs isn't called for. And for those of you who want to be a better influence on life as we know it, help those who "try" to help themselves, but aren't getting very far. He didn't mean take a slave or anything with the master stuff, I promise yall.

He also says he ain't trying to go bible thumping or trying to prove yall can read something about a "See Spot Run" book. The man says he's actually poking fun at those who try to get on here and talk the slang, rather it be from the "hood" or from some "country folk" like myself. But it isn't in a rude or ignorant way he does this. The man wishes that those with the voice to speak clearly to do so. The man just expresses a desire to see some intelligence in what we write and talk about on here, and not the useless drivel that gets thrown on here daily. As we all know the english language has become a diverse and pliable thing. But to have it butchered as it is and the words being written doing nothing but bad mouthing and putting other folks down, he seeks to see something for the better. So join in and say something nice folks...

That's all he asks...

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Leo

Be choosy about who you spend time with today. If you're with someone who's habitually miserable or sorry for themselves, you'll soon be dragged down to their level and will struggle to recover again. However, you may feel such sympathy for their plight that you don't see you have any choice but to be with them. If so, do your best to remain positive.
