This week Charleston lost a remarkable human being. Warren Moss was a wonderful Christan man and it was my pleasure to have been a student of his many years ago. Until I had him as a teacher, I was some what afraid of him. He was a dedicated teacher, teaching because he loved the challenge, loved his students and when you walked into his class room you knew this. After you got to know him, his sense of humor showed through on many occasions. He did not tolerate laziness, or nor did he tolerate those who were unconcerned about their education. He encouraged, and made each student feel worth something. He was more than just a teacher, he was a role model. He was stern and disciplined his students when it needed to be done. He also laughed with them, discussed topics at length with them and it was a pleasure to be part of that. It always amazed me how, after all the students he had over the years, he always remembered you when he met you outside the classroom. My, I am going to miss him even though I have not had any personal contact with Mr. Moss for years. I guess I thought he would live forever. Thank you Mr. Moss for who you were, what you did and the impresson you made on so many. God Bless You.
