4) Environment of hostility and chaos
There are numerous reports of staff members being threatened by coordinators and upper management. Again, we see the tactics of intimidation and fear being used to control the staff. This has also trickled down to the patients as they have complained that CEAD Council is very chaotic and produces an environment of relapse and not recovery. Most of the chaos and fear produced comes from the management and is passed through the coordinators down to their staff. The environment of the agency does not allow or promote innovative or forward thinking. Even if an idea would make the organization more productive it would not be implemented unless the same idea came from Pam. The morale of the staff is non-existent. If it was not for the patients serving as a reminder of our purpose we would probably never go to work. |

Anyone have some examples they would like to share? |
