I have yet to get an order from sonic the has been correct. Not 1 out ot maybe 10 orders. I'd rather drive to lewisburg.

I eat there a couple of times a month that is gross. If people only knew what the kitchens look like in their favorite resturants they would eat at home more often and be healthier.

The orders are never right and everything tastes the same, like old grease. I've asked around and there seems to be an agreement that they must not change the grease regularly. You have to order extra chocolate in your milk shake or it just taste like a vanilla one and there lemon berry slush drink is terrible. I agree, I'd rather drive to Lewisburg.

The sonic in chapel hill has had crappy management ever since it was established. the first general manager embezzled money. the second one was just a dumbass and the third one was an asshole and a cheapskate. but the general manager there now is a very competent worker. i have worked with him several times and he knows what he's doing.

Yes the roaches there are bad!!! I used to work for them - briefly, since the mgr that hired me had no problem lieing to me about wages or trying to shaft me out of over half of my hours. It has been a while since I worked there, but I seriously doubt that they have cleared up the roach problem, which is why I refuse to eat there. I know it's under new mgt, but with the extent of the infestation they would have to tent that building for a week to get rid of all of them - not too apt to happen. For the person who asked about the tips - no they don't split tips, but more frequently than not, there isn't much to split. It's a shame that there is no real choice in Chapel Hill for fast food, worst yet is the lack of jobs because of it - makes it hard for kids to get work experience when there is only a couple of places to find a job they're qualified for and because there are so few jobs, so few kids are getting that 'leg up' needed to be successful. |

If they want to be successful, they should stay in school. Forget working during high school. Success would more be attained by spending the extra time studying and applying to a college. |

I am an Operating Partner in Franklin. The Chapel Hill Sonic has had poor management in the past, mainly because its not profitable. Poor management, equals dirty floors, equals roaches. I believe both issues have been cleared up. The manager is a little wet behind the ears but he is learning and he does care. There will be new owners as of 01/02/2009. Give Chapel Hill Sonic another chance.

yea sonic is bad with the roaches. i used to be a cook there and there are roaches everywhere. I wouldnt eat there but u gotta eat some where.
