Stay away from Lewisburg

I have found Lewisburg to be like this, the majority of voters around here are for you too your face and against you behind your back, when it comes to trying to make things better for all, for most it would seem, only want things better for themselves.

What good would it do to run for office in Lewisburg or Marshall County if the machine counting the votes does not count right?
Here is the question can any voting machine be munipulated to reflect a certain vote count results as to favor one canidate over another?
How can you recount the votes without a paper trail.

ok are you for freakin real, have you went to to voting office and ask to inspect the machine, did you know you could do that. no you never ask other then b#$@ and crap on here. fact you can go inspect and ask question to the person in charge of the machine. here again because someone on here said so. lewisburg peps like you is what has kept good jobs out of here. i know of two companys that turned lewisburg down due to crime and not enough community involvment. one was my company that i just moved to shelbyville last month. i have 63 workers on two shifts and when i was looking to put it here in lewisburg well after living here for 4 yrs i dont see bringing my buss. here. a great place to live in my eyes but a bunch of lazy mouth runnin s$%# heads. this site should be taken off here for real. if you place a post on here you should do somethin positve for your town, being you bash it. and by the way we have trace two ips and next time they get on trashing or callin out someone by name then i will post your name. dont throw rocks till your ready to catch them. this town could be so much more, do you not think you negitavie comments dont bring folks down or others here this and see and really stay out of lewisburg, well they do just like i took my hat company to shelbyville. so thank all of you for makeing sure that happen lord knows i would not trust anyone to work here after i read this, as i see it lewisburg has not one good person or thing goin for it and should not recive any gov. moneys it would b a waste of time, that how i see after reading this site. if your local gov will not hear you on here then go to a meeting till then stop bringing this town down with your mouth. btw im chris thompson no need to hide who i am and if you do get on here and you need a job come to shelbville.

dont trash the prez when you took his tax break or that check he sent you to help pay your bills. IF HE OR HIS STAFF IS THAT BAD SEND THE MONEY BACK OR DONATE IT TO WHO YOU WANT IN OFFICE, BUT WHATEVER YOU DO DONT SPEND IT SHOW HIM YOU CAN DO MORE THEN RUN YOUR MOUTHS.

Nice to meet you, next time I am over that way, I will try to take the time to stop and talk, if the invitation is still open, maybe bring the article where the election commission shut the door on the local press wanting to watch the votes being counted. What good would it do for me to ask if the press gets the election door shut on them?
If you lived here for 4 years then no one had to tell you what decision to make, did they really, you made that on your own, if you are a business man, for who really tell business men what to do, they basic that on what they know, facts not hear say or talk.

Like I said before this is America for real and Free Speech at work by which does contain some of the raw truth and if by some conversation or effort most people can learn some facts as to the truth then we all have made it a better world for us all as a whole. I can trash him all I want to. And the money he sent me I gave it to my church and another non profit christin base help group.Because God gave it to me and I gave it back to him, and no I did not ask for and will not take a tax credit on it.

What is Nepotism when it comes to local government and why did the new Mayor not let that subject be pursued and why does local government not address the Sunshine law as to the city manager discussing policy issue with council members in private for is appointing not the same as electing when it comes to a majority vote is required to appoint or hire a City manager?
Why would any City manager personally deliver or discuss the Public Council Agenda before any public Meeting does that not break or weaken the purpose of the Sunshine Law?

Does City officials know of the law being broken and are not doing any thing about it?

Is the EPA monitoring the opening of the Landfill to replace the Leaking chemical Pipes and has our City or County Leaders notified the EPA of the process for the air sure stinks?
Is that not a real potential Health hazard and air pollution risk?
Are our city and county Leaders really protecting the citizens of Lewisburg?

Good, well it is said the Mountain of Chemical Leaking Garbage Dump right at the edge of the Lewisburg city limits may get full and close or be shut down by the state if they don't approve them dumping in a sink hole, if you can call that good, then we got to worry about the after effects of what has already been dumped there and the Methane gas leaking poison chemical rotten garbage leaking into the air we breath.

Has any one heard of the Tennessee Drug Free Workplace Act read the Tennessean on line and see where the Springhill Police Chief fail a random drug test, do our police officers receive these random drug test if not why not?

Does the City of Lewisburg drug test its employees randomly if not why not if other cities and towns are required too?

Did any of our elected officials lose a job recently for failing a random drug test? I heard a rumor. Is there any truth to that?

I grew up in Lewisburg. Orginally born in Florida. My parents still live there. I am moving back from Los Angeles. All of you people whining and moping about how bad Lewisburg is, frankly it is not. Try living in LA. Granted the police officers are some what bored and two of them are real winners. Will not dispense of any names. And yes there is preference sometimes. But you have to look really hard at what your criticizing about. Yes it is not perfect but what damn city or state is. Their is special treatment everywhere you go! Yes i made fun of Lewisburg for many years.
Susan i beg to differ having gone to Lewisburg High and Cornersville School. I loved both schools, your so called racial prejudice is crap. the reason most of the black kids dont get help with crap is because they dont care!!! The damn school is majority black.... When i went there, my class was half black. all of the black kids played football!!! and there for they got passed without doing a damn thing!! I would know because once i joined the football team my grades went up. The help is always there, but you have to take interest in it. And so do the damn parents. there is the problem parents not wating to take note of kids attitude towards school. Race is an excuse because someone needs to blame someone without looking. and big mamma dj, um... your black i can tell. if not youre trying to hard to be. the crackheads and losers are most of your black kids in the projects and "hoods". and i suppose being in college grove is life at its best right? takes an hour for the damn police and fire dept there. Oh! yeah great place to set up meth labs!
their education system is not that bad ... i mean look at Los Angeles where 25% of the kids who graduate do at an 9th grade level!!I learned more in Lewisburg than i did here in LA. Colleges are somewhat better here.
