What do you think about Rex's Foodland?

i think the owners are nice ppl.

prices are higher than other stores if they were more comparable i may shop there more.

What happened to the woman and her daughter that used to work at Rex's.They were really nice and friendly to everyone.I wish they were still there and Rex you need to get them back if at all possible.

There meat is good, but some of there employees don't seem very happy. There not rude they just act like there being watched, which is stressful.

I shop there and the cashiers are not friendly what happened to the southern hospitality or are they all from up north?

The staff there is allways friendy to me, maybe they give back the attitudes they recieve from the customer, you ever think about that?

The meats there are the best, I wont buy meats any where else, some of the other prices are in the range of the other larger chains, and for the rest, well the higher cost of gas offsets the prices in my book

some of the cashiers are rude there an the manager's.that's the excuse for one of them( up north)

I like Rex's, I didn't like working there... But their new store is very nice.

I have ALWAYS had a GREAT experience. Kroger won't cart those groceries out for you!

The owner's are trying their best to have a decent grocery store for this little town. As far as prices, I think the prices are pretty comparable to any other store. If you pay to drive a further distance to shop at a store out of town, then you will probably spend more money than if you just shopped at Rex's. As far as employees, you try to run a big store and manage as many employees as Rex has and see how good you will do. I think he is doing the best he knows how. They don't care if some of their employees are from the north, they just want nice, trustworthy, dependable employees. Of course there are security cameras but the employees have no need to act uptight as long as they are doing their job!

****As for the Mother-daughter team, you will have too be more specific, there have been several Mother-daughters over the years.

I believe the 2 ladies you are referring about do still live here in town. They left Rex's and went on to do other things and that was their choice. It is a persons choice where they work and you have to apply for a job in order to be hired. If anyone wishes to work at Rex's, then they will have to put an application in just like any other place of business. I think this little community needs to appreciate the fact that they do have such a nice store to shop at rather than having to drive so far away to another store. It's convenient for us all!
