With the new local ordinance for truency in place, school aged children are now legally required to be in school when they are suposed to. Unless they can prove they are out for a legitimate reason (doctors appt. family emergency, death, illness etc.) they can be given a local ordinance citation and/or the parents can be fined or given community service. I don't think alot of parents and students know about this ordinance because it was just passed near the end of last school year.

I do agree that it's wrong for anyone to post a minor's name on here, but until cyberspace laws are passed to prevent that it's going to continue to happen.
