What grocers should get rid of is those stupid store coupons. I go to the store and see an amazing deal--but only if you have the coupon. Otherwise, you pay more. So off I go for the elusive coupon, only to find there aren't any left. If stores knew how many times I ended up not buying ANY they'd change their policy. Can't you just give it to me for the sales price? Quite obviously you calculated your price carefully to make sure you were turning a profit at that price, or you are selling at or below cost as a teaser.

I'm capable of doing the math. I just get tired of people not saying what they mean. I don't need 10 pizzas, either, thank you very much.

Cub has the best produce and variety of foods.
Hey NoDoubt, I wanted to be the first to give you a heads-up. America's traditional voting day has been changed from November 4th to November 5th...see ya at the polls!

I find coupons, buy one get one free, buy one get one half off (this one really annoys me), buy three for the price of five, etc. to be a total crock. Give me the price of one item, don't make me clip coupons, and let me get to the business of feeding my family and budgeting in a simple and straightforward manner. I like where this guy's going!

Maybe Craig Herkert can tell Obama and his Mao communist sympathizers to stop the FDA Food and Drug Administration's attempts to shut down every Ma and Pop small farm that supplies local Cub Foods with domestically grown veggies. Then again, he is a CEO and probably likes to bend over and grab the ankles for Obama like every other pathetic business leader. The FDA made false accusations against tomato growers last year that nearly put them out of business.

Cub has been successfully obscuring unit pricing for years with their "must buy two" stipulation in very small pring within store advertisements. That point, and their dramatic price increases, has sent me looking for alternatives.
This policy change is an excellent decision.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Scorpio

If you haven't seen certain people during the past few days, how about inviting them over for a drink or a meal? You're feeling sociable and will enjoy doing some light entertaining although you'll draw the line at anything too strenuous. It's a lovely day for being in familiar surroundings with some familiar faces, even if all you do is flop on the sofa.
