I don't see the Briggs on here bashing RD, I don't see the Smith's on here bashing the Briggs. I see the supporters of both of these families bashing the supporters of the other family and that family itself. I am a Brigg's supporter but I do not get on here and just bash RD. If I have questions I ask them and if I have a statement then I make it. There is no need in all of this.

Personally I don't believe in spanking a little baby at all.
The D.A. had evidence that, that "spanking" caused significant injuries (just look at the pictures in the news reports of Kelsey's little bottom with several bruises and red prickly marks from Raye's hairbrush regarding this incident).
The plea (if there was a plea) was punishment for the abuse of Kelsey in January 2005.
Abuse that DHS confirmed against,
Raye Dawn Smith.
