Man held in killing of woman on I-57

I drove by northbound at 10:30 minutes after it happened, I will never forget the bloody women laying in the middle lane of southbound I-57 mile marker 327.

This was my neice and I hope that they FRY him.

I HATE THAT MaN I HOPE HE BURN AND DIE...!!!!!!!

Sir: I am the mother of the young lady you saw on the highway that was murdered. Can you let me know if she laid motionesly? My heart is still hurting and she left us with 4 beautiful children.

I am the mother of the murder woman that was found dead on the highway. I just want to know if she laid there motionesly. Our family is hurting and she left us with her pride and joy her 4 children.

I am the sister of the girl found murdered...
Was she lying there motionless?

maybe Illinois ought to start voting conservative again and bring back the death penalty, no???

I worked with Cassondra and I send my prayers to your family. This is a unspeakable tragedy. I believe no one deserves to die that way. I just found out what happened to her today, and I couldn't believe it. This has been on my mind constantly since, I just cannot imagine why some one would do such a thing. It truly sickens me to my stomache and in one effect seems so surreal. She didn't deserve that I know she didn't. So times all you can to give your troubles up to the Lord and let him guide and heal you.

The death penalty was put on a moratorium because too many innocent people were on Death Row. The moratorium was enacted by a Conservative governer.

I think this situation is horrible and it makes it worse this poor woman had children but their is no evidence to conclude that a death penalty prevents terrible acts of violence like this.

Judge Parker once said: "it's not the severity of the punishment, it is the consistancy of the punishment that detours crime" I dont know if was right or not, but I do believe that capital punishment would ease alot of financial burden, as well as open room for a growing number of lesser sentence offenders, and there is always that chance that it will detour crime, if we did it consistantly, and since we have not done that, how could we conclude if it would prevent.

And I think conservatives are more apt to vote for capital punishment than are liberals.

Thank you so much for your prayers. How lond did you work with my sister? It has been two months now since she's been gone. Though it still seems like yesterday. I'm not sure what will happen next. I only hope and pray that her kids left behind will find comfort in the the Lord as well as their other relatives.

This is the first time since my cousin passed that i've been able to read something about this tragedy without feeling like i couldn't breathe. I ask God every day to give me the strength to forgive myself for leaving her that Sunday night.My whole life has changed since that night.I need to find some comfort,it's just so hard! May god bless her beautiful babies.

for everybody that got something to say about my brother, dont none of yall know nothing about him what happen in that car had to be a freak accident , truth be told if she never had a gun in the fucking car we wouldnt being talking about this shit , yeah yall might of forgot about her but we grieve over my brother every day

look everybody that has a love one that is gone is going to hurt emotionly, but did any of yall ever think how bad my brother is hurting. He didnt try to kill that girl , my bro is not a killer that much i do know, the only logically reason for him pushing her out the car is cause he probaly didnt want to die himself she was under the wheel dead what was he suppose to do . What i want everyone to know is that my brother was setting in a out of town jail by himself fucked up over what happen he wounldnt even talk with his own mother. Yall share so much harsh words for my borther and he has not one time had anything bad to say about her after the fact she was dead.It was a fucking accident lay off of my brother cause i know and plenty of other people know, that girl was crazy i seen her do crazy shit with my own eyes so i know and im sure u do to.

To the mother of cassondra i'm sorry for your lost I really am ,I just would like to let u know that my bro is not a killer and it was surely a accident. My brother sat in jail 4 weeks without a word being said. When he finally did he was broke up over what happen. If it helps u any mam he sorry also.
