Another drunk nearly killed an innocent driver.

40 thousand plus people are killed every year by drunk drivers and the statistics for those maimed is not accounted. Incarcerations and fines and DUI classes are not stopping this antisocial behavior.

More people are killed every month than the disaster on 9/11.

Imagine a 9/11 happening every single month of every year!

Where is the war on incompetent drivers? We are at greater risk of being terrorized on the road than by any religious extremist. Mr Bush I don't feel safer now!

Michelle, get a good lawyer to represent you and sue the pants off the drunk who hit your car. You could have been killed but the sorry dirtbag who drove his car while intoxicated. He did not care about you, so you don't need to care about him. Sue him! Why? Because judges do not treat DUI as serious offenses and do not do enough to punish the offenders. Civil court is a way to demonstrate to those who take the risk of DUI that it serious and they stand to lose big.

The paper failed to mention the fact that my best friend was with me in the car. Thankfully we both walked away from my car with just a few cuts and bruises. It's just scary to realise you never know who's out there on the roads with you. So please everyone, buckle up!
